At a recent Trump rally in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, a local trucker named Ernie delivered a stirring speech about the destructive effects of unchecked immigration on small-town America.

Charleroi, a once-peaceful blue-collar town, has been overwhelmed by a sudden surge in immigration, primarily from Haiti, as facilitated by the Biden-Harris administration. This flood of newcomers has caused major shifts in the community, one that locals like Ernie are warning cannot be ignored, as reported by Trending Politics News.

Ernie took the stage at the rally, speaking directly to the crowd, “My name is Ernie. I’m here as a representative, a resident of the small town of Charleroi, PA, which you may have heard on the news here recently. Over half of our town is now filled with Haitian immigrants and illegal immigrants brought in by the federal government, and specifically the Biden-Harris administration. And I’m here with a dire warning to every American. This isn’t going to stop unless we can take our country back.”

His message resonated with the audience, especially as he laid out the numbers. Under the Biden-Harris administration, 9.9 million immigrants have made it across the border since they have taken office. There is no pushback from the administration to close or seal the border, which is now affecting small-town America in my hometown of Charleroi, PA,” he added.

Ernie, bearing a “We The People” tattoo on his forearm, emphasized, “We, the people, run this country. We must remind the Democrats and Kamala Harris that we have the power to take it back.”

As reported by the America 2100 project, Ernie described how his town has changed dramatically in recent years. Once a quiet, affordable place to live, Charleroi has been transformed.

Local housing has been bought up, and while homes might be cheap now, Ernie questioned the quality of life that remains. “This used to be a nice, middle-of-nowhere town. You can raise your family here,” he said. “But  I don’t know if we’re going to come back from this.”

Former President Donald Trump, standing alongside Ernie, reinforced his commitment to fight against these immigration policies. Trump, recognizing the damage caused by unregulated migration, pledged to continue holding rallies in towns across the nation, such as Springfield, Ohio, which have also been affected by mass immigration under the current administration.

The rally served as a spotlight on how these policies are reshaping small American communities, causing long-time residents to feel as though their way of life is slipping away. For many, Ernie’s speech was a powerful reminder that ordinary citizens still have a voice and a stake in the future of the country.
