Orums is warning that efforts to impose socialist or communist policies while dismantling major constitutional institutions could provoke violent resistance from members of the military, reservists, and veterans who believe they remain bound by their oath to defend the Constitution.
In a lengthy statement, Orums argued that supporters of sweeping political changes fail to consider what would happen if they attempted to abolish institutions such as the Senate, Supreme Court, or presidency.
"Liberals are all college-educated idiots, and it's very provable. They never think about consequences, ramifications, or even remotely what comes after."
Orums then presented a hypothetical scenario in which the Democratic Socialists of America gained control of the House, Senate, and presidency and began implementing policies he described as communist.
"Because let's say by some freak accident, right? They lie, they steal, they cheat, the usual stuff. But let's just say by some freak accident, the DSA takes over the House, the Senate, and the presidency, and they start enacting all of their little communist utopia policies."
His warning became more explicit when discussing any attempt to dismantle constitutional institutions.
"What makes you think you're going to survive long enough for the ink to dry? Like the moment you start to try to get rid of the Senate and the Supreme Court and the President, the moment you try to dismantle the very Constitution, these guys are gonna fuck you up."
Orums argued that defunding military institutions would not necessarily prevent resistance because, in his view, service members' allegiance is rooted in their oath rather than compensation.
He then recited the oath he said he took on October 10, 2010.
"I, Orums, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
Orums said he views that oath as continuing beyond active service.
"I took this oath, October 10th of 2010."
He argued that military personnel and veterans remain obligated to defend the Constitution even after their formal service contracts end.
"The oath of enlistment has no expiration date and no expiration clause. There's no oh, once my contract is up. Like no, this oath is legally binding until we die."
Orums also made a severe threat against veterans aligned with the DSA, saying they would face imprisonment and execution if constitutional order were restored after such a political takeover.
"When we put the Constitution back to rights, every single one of them is going to be put in jail and tried as an oath breaker and executed."
He continued by arguing that the wording of the military oath places the Constitution ahead of loyalty to any individual president.
"We are sworn to the Constitution before the president. It is written this way for a reason."
Orums said that if political leaders attempted what he viewed as unconstitutional changes, they would face resistance from both active-duty personnel and reservists.
"So the second that y'all try to do all this unconstitutional stuff, the second you try to dismantle this country, you're gonna have to deal with approximately 2 million active duties and reservists."

He claimed active-duty troops would rise up and reservists would mobilize across the states.
"Active duty is gonna rise up, and the reservists are gonna activate and mobilize in every single state and make sure that our nation is constitutionally compliant."
Orums also said veterans would reorganize around former units and potentially form militias.
"You're also gonna have to deal with like 18 million veterans like myself linking back up with our old units, cotton bellies. By God, you're gonna have to deal with us forming militias."
His argument rested on the belief that radical political change would not occur peacefully if it involved dismantling the constitutional structure of the United States.
"There is no version of events where you just win elections, and you write in all your communist things."
He concluded by saying attempts to transform the United States into a socialist or communist system would face violent resistance.
"No, there is no version of reality where you turn America socialist or communist without having to fight and die for it like we did."
The #DSA will NEVER turn #America socialist/communist. It's a losing battle regardless for you liberals. Your college professors did not teach you, they sold you a lie born from their own inadequacies. https://t.co/IRgaa4OSJu
