Sofia Vergara marked her 54th birthday with a European getaway, sharing photos and videos from celebrations in Italy that included time on a yacht, dinners with family and friends, and a series of colorful outfits, as reported by Fox News.
The "Modern Family" star turned 54 on July 10 and posted a photo the following day showing herself relaxing on a yacht while wearing a bright red two-piece swimsuit.
Vergara shared the image on Instagram Saturday as she thanked followers for their birthday messages and reflected on the festivities.
"So happy for all the love from u guys yesterday! It was the best bday ever!!! ❤️ and thank u Italy for all my 300 cakes! 54 is a good number!!!! " Vergara wrote in the caption of her post.

Her son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, 34, and her longtime business partner, Luis Balaguer, were among those included in the group.
For one outing, the Emmy Award nominee wore an off-the-shoulder patterned coral maxi dress with a gathered bodice and oval-shaped sunglasses.

The birthday festivities continued Saturday evening with a dinner attended by family and friends. Vergara wore a long, strapless red dress along with a gold and diamond necklace and gold bracelets.
In one group photo, she posed with Manolo, who held a tambourine featuring a photo of his mother's face. Another image showed Vergara seated in front of a large birthday cake decorated with an edible image of her face, cherries, long red candles, and sparklers.
Vergara also shared a video showing restaurant staff members dancing as they approached her table with the birthday cake.
She danced in her chair while surrounded by loved ones as other diners joined in by clapping along to the music.
As she has entered her 50s, Vergara has spoken publicly about the confidence that comes with getting older.
"When you reach a certain age, you know life more," she told E! News in 2024. "That's one of the fun things about getting older: You realize what's important in life and what is not."
The actress has also discussed the challenges of aging while working in Hollywood, where she said celebrities face constant scrutiny.
"I'm in a business where we're always being looked at," she explained.
"And now the cameras are high definition. It's different to age as a normal woman in a normal job, but to age in front of a camera is completely different. And all of our insecurities become even bigger once you get older."
Vergara has been open about using Botox and has said she is not opposed to plastic surgery in the future.

"I want to feel good and not because what people are thinking of me," she said.
"It's for me. I want to feel fresh — not exhausted. You have to accept that you're going to be different, but also I'm never afraid to do the best that I can. So, if there's things I can do without going crazy, why not?"
