Eight members of the radical Antifa group just learned what happens when violent militants target law enforcement and federal property in the state of Texas.
In a sweeping decision that marks the first federal Antifa terrorism trial in the state, a federal judge sentenced eight of the ten convicted members to prison terms ranging from 50 to 100 years following their attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado on July 4, 2025.
The ringleader, Benjamin Song, will spend the rest of his life behind bars after receiving a 100-year sentence.
Prosecutors said Song orchestrated the armed assault that injured officers, destroyed federal vehicles, and terrorized the area in what the Justice Department called a premeditated act of “domestic terrorism inspired by Antifa ideology.”

Maricela Rueda received a 70-year sentence, while Autumn Hill, Zachary Evetts, Savanna Batten, Meagan Morris, and Elizabeth Soto each earned 50-year sentences.

Their attack sent shockwaves through law enforcement agencies across the country, and the sentences serve as a clear message that political violence has severe consequences.
The coordinated assault unfolded on Independence Day as Antifa agitators dressed in black bloc gear, armed with explosives and weapons, descended on the Texas ICE facility.
Federal officers rushed to respond as fireworks were detonated and shots were fired toward police and detention staff.
One officer was shot in the neck but survived after emergency treatment.
The defendants faced a laundry list of federal charges, including terrorism, conspiracy, riot participation, material support for a terrorist organization, attempted murder of law enforcement, and illegal use of explosives.
After a trial that lasted nearly two weeks and included testimony from more than 45 witnesses, the jury delivered guilty verdicts in March.
“Today’s verdict shows the FBI remains committed to identifying, locating, and dismantling Antifa and its funding networks across the country,” stated FBI Director Kash Patel.
He emphasized that violence against law enforcement will not be tolerated.
His comments echoed what many Americans have demanded for years: accountability for masked extremists who act as if they are above the law.
The Justice Department detailed how the attack was designed to cause maximum chaos.
The Antifa members brought explosive devices, vandalized government property, and aimed to harm law enforcement and ICE officials.
Federal prosecutors also cited evidence that Antifa operatives used encrypted communication channels to plan the attack and conceal key evidence, leading to convictions for obstruction and conspiracy to conceal documents.

U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould said that the outcome showed “absolute justice for the officers and public servants targeted by political extremists.”
The trial began on February 23, 2026, and by the end of the 12-day proceeding, jurors had little doubt that this was not a protest gone wrong but a calculated attempt at domestic terrorism.
Seven additional individuals connected to the cell had already pled guilty last year to charges of providing material support to terrorists, a rare acknowledgment that the Antifa network operates more like a coordinated insurgent group than a collection of random activists.
Those guilty pleas helped prosecutors build the broader case that resulted in Tuesday’s historic sentencing.
The Alvarado attack was one of several incidents in recent years where Antifa groups targeted law enforcement and immigration facilities across the nation.
Under Biden’s watch, many of these anti-police agitators faced little consequence, leading to justified frustration among conservatives who watched cities burn with minimal prosecution. In Texas, that era just ended.
The mainstream press, eager to downplay Antifa’s crimes, has been largely silent on the case.
Liberal news outlets that once excused Antifa as “anti-fascist protesters” have ignored the evidence that federal prosecutors presented at trial.
The contrast could not be clearer between the corporate media’s protection of a violent ideology and the reality faced by law enforcement officers who risked their lives to stop it.
Supporters of law enforcement praised the decision as a turning point.
Social media lit up with praise for Texas prosecutors and federal agents who stuck with the case despite political pressure.
For many Americans, this case is proof that the justice system, when unshackled from political correctness, can still deliver accountability for the mob violence that the left has tried to normalize.
The Antifa terror sentences stand as a chilling warning to anyone thinking of committing political violence.
Texas has sent a clear message that America will not be bullied by masked radicals or their Marxist ideology.
The rule of law still means something in this country, especially when Americans refuse to bow to fear or intimidation from the far left.

What a bunch of cowardly losers. They should have been given the gas chamber.
I disagree with what has been catering to domestic terrorists.
The reason we have so many that think this isn’t a big deal, is because if the corrupt get back in charge, those within the TERRORISTS of BLM, ANTIFA, JANES REVENGE, OCCUPY, WEATHER UNDERGROUND, ETC have all proven REAL JUSTICE IS NOT FULFILLED. Those that choose to commit crimes that amount to MURDER, RAPE, MOLESTATION, PEDOPHILIA, KIDNAPPING, REAL TERRORISTS and THOSE THAT LIE AND ACCUSE THE INNOCENT OF THESE CRIMES, should not be in ANY PRISON. These crimes have gone past the ability of deserving the opportunity of rehabilitation. They all deserve DAY OF CONVICTION FORFEITURE OF THEIR LIVES.
When we get serious about the EVIL that is CAUSED, CREATED, AIDED, ABETTED, EXCUSED and BAILED OUT….And the same people doing so try to convince us GUNS are the problem and THEY AREN’T, we’ll be back on the right path to REAL RESTITUTION and REAL EQUAL JUSTICE that we have not been on FOR DECADES.
Prison should be a limited time offer, not a revolving door to create a resume for career criminals, gang/terrorist recruitment and “useful idiots” for the corrupt inside our government, courts, etc. And NONE OF THE ABOVE ARE REHABILITATABLE CRIMES.
A sentence of 100 YEARS in the courts system we have these days because of the majority of PROGRESSIVE JUDGES, in reality become less than 20 years, if that much in the pardons evil give these days to fellow evil.
