In 2017, he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge after assaulting a valet at John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio, an altercation that was captured on camera.
For that offense, Love was fined $500 and received a suspended jail sentence of 180 days.
More recently, in August 2024, he was accused of felony assault following an incident at the Sheraton Mission Valley in San Diego.
Authorities said Love threw a credit card machine at a hotel clerk’s head after she told him the room he booked through a third-party app was unavailable.
According to a criminal complaint, the device struck the woman on the left side of her head, breaking her glasses.
The alleged victim has since filed a lawsuit seeking compensation for medical expenses and emotional distress.
The Hillsborough County arrest marks another addition to the actor’s ongoing legal troubles.
As of now, no hearing date or further details regarding the Florida case have been released.
