A New Jersey protester got a rude awakening during a heated anti-ICE demonstration in Newark after finding out the hard way that state police do not put up with violent agitators.

The leftist crowd descended on the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility Saturday night, where law enforcement was again forced to restore order.

Independent journalist Oliya Scootercaster was on the ground recording the chaos.

This was just the latest round of left-wing unrest at the facility, which has become a magnet for radicals trying to bully ICE officers and taxpayers alike.

Scootercaster’s footage captured everything from smoke grenades to tear gas and a particularly memorable moment for one protester who may not sit comfortably for quite some time.

The rowdy crowd, which has been occupying the area for days, was well-equipped and well-funded.

Another journalist, Nick Sortor, infiltrated their encampment and found abundant supplies, including costly tents, fresh food delivered hourly, and even riot gear stacked and ready for use.

No one believes that kind of operation pops up without serious backing.

It looks more like a coordinated campaign bankrolled by left-wing donors determined to undermine American law enforcement.

Sortor’s reporting highlighted how polished the entire scene was.

It hardly looked organic.

New Jersey Democrat Governor Mikie Sherill even admitted that it wasn't.

WATCH:

Leftist groups preach that they stand for “justice” yet they eat catered meals while trying to shut down federal immigration enforcement.

With Democrats constantly cheering their disruptions, it is no surprise that Antifa-style protesters feel emboldened.

Local officials have been bending over backward to accommodate these agitators, while genuine Americans who follow the law keep watching their communities overrun by mob antics.

When police finally had to act, it was a long time coming.

State troopers used tear gas and smoke to break up the crown as tensions rose again late into the night.

Mounted officers swept in to push the crowd back.

That was when one very unlucky man discovered what happens when you charge law enforcement.

The footage shows an agitator wearing a pink belt limping around and lifting his shirt to reveal the painful reminder of his own poor decision making.

“They literally shot me through my d**k!” he cried out to the camera, pointing at a hole in the crotch of his pants.

The clip spread quickly online and social media offered no pity.

Many commenters simply replied “play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”

That line perfectly sums up the entire weekend.

If you try to get physical with police at a volatile protest, do not expect hugs and understanding.

The man’s injury may heal but his viral embarrassment will last far longer.

The moment also served as a vivid example of what real consequences look like, something many on the radical left have forgotten after years of preferential treatment from soft on crime politicians.

Meanwhile, the mainstream press has been predictably quiet.

Corporate outlets that normally race to showcase any use of force by police did not show much interest in covering an Antifa type protest gone wrong.

Maybe the story did not fit their narrative of “peaceful demonstration.” The silence says plenty about what kind of behavior they are willing to excuse.

Democrat politicians keep saying ICE should be defunded or dismantled.

They cheer this type of “civil disobedience” while families in border states live with daily fallout from illegal immigration.

Ordinary citizens know better.

They can see who keeps the streets safe and who stirs up chaos.

These protesters are not freedom fighters.

They are spoiled militants who find out real quick that the rule of law does not bend to their tantrums.

Officers who put themselves in harm’s way to uphold order deserve credit, not criticism.

In Newark, they kept a dangerous situation from escalating further.

No matter how much Antifa grows its supply lines or social media reach, they cannot erase this reality: the law still applies.

There is no sympathy when agitators turn violent.

The protester’s wail of “They shot me through my d**k!” may go down as the unintentional anthem of a movement that has lost any sense of purpose or dignity.

It exposes how juvenile and reckless these demonstrations have become.

The lawmen on the front lines did their job.

The agitator learned a painful lesson.

For once, karma arrived on time.
