With former FBI Director James Comey scheduled to surrender to authorities this week, Vice President J.D. Vance said on Sunday that Hillary Clinton may be the next figure tied to the government’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation to face indictment.
Comey is expected to turn himself in on Friday after being charged with two counts of lying to Congress and obstruction of a congressional investigation.
The indictment comes about a week after President Donald Trump urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute several political opponents, including Comey and Clinton.

Earlier this summer, administration officials referred Obama-era figures to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution linked to Crossfire Hurricane, the 2016-era investigation into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.
Both Comey and Clinton were named in those referrals.
Documents provided by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines suggest Clinton had prior knowledge that her then-national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, intended to “stir things up” by sharing information with U.S. intelligence to distract from the controversy surrounding her private email server.
“There’s going to be more indictments coming over the next three and a half years of the Trump administration. This was an indictment delivered in Alexandria, Virginia, not exactly a hotbed of Donald Trump’s political support,” Vice President Vance said, referring to Comey’s case.

Comey’s past testimony before Congress has also drawn renewed scrutiny. Former Congressman Jason Chaffetz, now a Fox News correspondent, recalled questioning Comey during a 2016 hearing about whether Clinton ever lied to the FBI.
“Not to the FBI,” Comey said at the time.
Asked if Clinton’s sworn statements denying that her emails contained classified material were investigated, Comey responded, “Not to my knowledge.”

Fox contributor Anita Vogel referenced statements from Devin Nunes, who chairs the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, accusing Clinton of advancing the claim that Trump colluded with Russia.
Vogel noted a 2022 CNN report in which Clinton’s campaign manager acknowledged the Democrat approved a plan to spread the collusion allegations.
“This is not some right-wing conspiracy. This is not some Republican talking points,” Vogel said.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if she could be indicted and finally have to answer some of these questions about this Russia-collusion narrative” and the Steele dossier, which has since been discredited.
The potential for Clinton to face charges comes as she continues to weigh in on foreign policy.
Last week, she appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and expressed approval of President Trump’s latest remarks on the Russia-Ukraine war.
“I welcomed what the president said yesterday,” Clinton told the hosts, praising Trump’s position that Ukraine could regain territory lost to Russia.
The Justice Department has not announced whether it intends to pursue charges against Clinton, but the indictment of Comey has intensified speculation about additional prosecutions related to Crossfire Hurricane.
Vance and other administration officials have suggested that more indictments may be forthcoming as the investigation moves forward.

Here we go again… they are going after a few people, but NOT for their treason and crimes against America, they are going after them for just lying to investigators…
this is the equivalent of me going on, robbing a bank, killing a bunch of people in there, then the authorities prosecuting me for illegally parking my car outside of the bank while i did it.
Well, did you get a ticket?? I think you have to be sure you can get them on some kind of crime. Treason would be hard to convince a jury, especially in a Obama stacked court room
You charge them with a whole plethora of crimes and either they cop to lesser charges (which is where you would be with lesser charges), or you bankrupt them in legal fees.
There is more than one way to skin a cat.
“Russiagate” was definitely a conspiracy and has been an ONGOING conspiracy since it’s beginning during the 2016 campaign. The ongoing nature of it can be used to keep the normal statute of limitations from prevent a prosecution from taking place.
I hope to God they do finally go after Killary, but they should have thrown her in prison YEARS ago for what she let happen in Bengazi!
Clinton looks like a nut case
She is. Thats the look of demon possession and ego driven insanity. She should have went to prison years ago.
It seems to me that indictments of the guilty democrats are being slow walked. Is the scope of the investigation into Clinton and the rest of the guilty too big for Bondi to handle? I hope that’s not the case. Get on with it. Justice delayed is justice denied. I am disappointed and so are millions of others. President Trump, please get Bondi and the DOJ to move at least a little bit faster.
DOJ may have to reassess this indictment of Hillary, don’t know if there shackles big enough to fit around those Kancles.
