Local outlet Fox 2 Detroit reported that six to eight people were among the victims.
Authorities did not immediately provide further details regarding the conditions of those wounded.
Police instructed individuals at the scene to gather at a reunification pavilion located to the north of the church.
An additional reunification site was established at the Trillium theater at Holly and McCandlish for those arriving from outside the immediate area.

Why is there a cross pictured above? Mormons absolutely reject the Jesus that died for our sins on the cross. Read the sign in front of their church. They have their OWN Jesus totally redefined from the Jesus of the bible.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints worship Jesus Christ… the same Jesus that died on the cross and was resurrected.
No they don’t. Answer this: Do Mormons believe in the Holy Trinity? Do they believe that Jesus in God or an Angel? The LDS church is not really Christian in the way most would interpret Christianity.
Answer this and we’ll talk. Christians believe Jesus is God in the flesh. Say in a reply that Jesus is God. (Not A God.) you won’t. You can’t. Please stop the misdirection.
Mormons believe that their ‘prophet’ saw the scriptures through some ‘magical eyeglasses’ or something in the 18th century. Hmmm….. Smoking or drinking eh?
Please get your facts straight. The LDS Church absolutely believes that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Everything about the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS is based on the atonement of Jesus for the sins of the world. They just don’t believe in worshipping the method of His death (the cross), but instead worship Him as having risen from the tomb and being the Living Christ. However, they have nothing against using the cross in His remembrance. Several of the songs they sing for their Sacrament refer to the Cross…such as “Upon the Cross of Cavalry” and “for us on Calvary’s cross He bled”, and other lines.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I absolutely worship Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. He lived a sinless life, He suffered in the Garden and on the Cross for my sins, and He was resurrected in glory. I know that I can only be saved by His grace, so I am trying, in my imperfect way, to be faithful and obedient to His commandments.
why did brigham young have magic underpants? they don’t need to be targeted for murder, they are followers of jesus. why do dems want them dead.
mitt romneys offspring did it
You gotta love the US Law Enforcement normal responses… There are numerous people shot dead. People are wounded. Buildings are burned down. Yet they can unequivocally say “there is no danger to the public”???? Yeah, right, sure, whatever…
Don’t be fooled. Mormons is another Gospel other than what a Bible believing Christian follows. Mormons believe:
1. God is an exalted man;
2. God lives on a planet near a star called Kolob;
3. God is married and is a polygamist;
4. Mary was God’s wife;
5. It is wrong to worship Jesus Christ;
6. Lucifer is the spirit brother of Jesus;
7. The Book of Mormon is superior to the Bible;
8. There is no salvation aside from the Mormon church;
There are too many things for me to continue listing. Suffice it to say Joseph Smith was a liar and has led countless people astray with his teaching. Brigham Young and the rest of the Mormon elders are just as bad. The problem is that all the Mormon people I have met (I lived in Utah and Arizona for many years) are generally good people with kind hearts, they just don’t know their own history or have challenged what they have been taught. It’s a sad thing!
Are you trying to justify the slaughter of Mormons?
Are you nuts? I’ve lost a daughter to gun violence. I take no joy in the death of anyone, regardless of religious faith. The pain of losing a loved one is tough to experience. I wish that upon no one.
