House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) on Tuesday revealed the Republican lawmakers who will serve on the newly formed Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.
The group will be responsible for overseeing the release of classified documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the client list of Jeffrey Epstein.
The Republican members appointed to the task force include Reps. Anna Paulina Luna (FL), Nancy Mace (SC), Tim Burchett (TN), Lauren Boebert (CO), Eli Crane (AZ), Eric Burlison (MO), and Brandon Gill (TX).

Comer emphasized the importance of the initiative in a statement, saying, "Ensuring government transparency for the American people is a core mission of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The Republicans on Rep. Luna’s task force are steadfast champions of transparency, and I am confident they will vigorously pursue and deliver the truth on critical issues."
Luna confirmed that the task force’s first hearing is scheduled for March and will focus on records related to Kennedy’s assassination.

As of now, no Democratic lawmakers have joined the task force.
While previous efforts to declassify these records have received bipartisan support, it remains unclear if any Democrats will participate in this specific initiative.

The release of JFK assassination records has been a topic of public debate for decades.
While many files have been made public, some remain classified, fueling speculation and calls for full transparency.
In 2023, the Biden-Harris administration released thousands of previously withheld documents but opted to keep certain records sealed, citing national security concerns.
The Epstein client list has also been a subject of significant interest. Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes and later died in a New York jail under controversial circumstances in 2019, was known to have connections with high-profile individuals in politics, business, and entertainment.
Calls to release the full list of names tied to Epstein’s illegal activities have persisted as part of broader demands for accountability.
With its first hearing set for March, the task force is expected to move forward with efforts to declassify and release information on both topics.

These things have been “committeed” to death. Release them already!! Why were the Epstein files EVER a secret? He wasn’t part of government, was he? What is so “SECRET” about something that happened over 60 years ago? DOGE the thing and save some more money, no need to “staff that issue”!!
May I reach out to the committee with a matter of of great importance regarding the JFK assassination. On Dec. 9,1969, at the age of fourteen, I was a unwitting recipient of a left temporal lobe brain tissue transplant at a pediatric hospital in Toronto Ontario Canada, and I have come to believe that the tissue I received may be the the missing left temporal lobe of of President John F. Kennedy’s brain. Allow me to explain, while being wheeled out of the operating room, a neurosurgical male staff member mentioned to me, “Terry I put a copy of what they put into you in your medical records, check it out when you get out of here.” The nurse behind him objected , stating I was not suppose to know what they did to me. Over the years ai was able to gain partial access to my medical records to discover a diagram of a left temporal lobe brain tissue and comprehend what the neurosurgical staff member meant, as to what they put into me, being a transplant of a left temporal lobe brain tissue. When I scan and question as to where this left temporal lobe originated from, only one person pops up, being JFK. DR. Charles Crenshaw notes, “As the last doctor to see JFK before the body left Parkland, I can unequivocally report that there was no grey body bag, and he still had the left side of his brain.” However, when JFK arrived at Bethesda hospital, Dr. Paul O’Connor asked the military what happened to JFK’s missing brain tissue, and told it was classified. With all of the secrecy and concealment surrounding JFK and myself, leaves me with no doubt of a connection with the CIA and JFK. The CIA is well known for it’s covert operations upon children in Quebec, but not when it comes to this pediatric hospital in Toronto. I believe it is imperative that this information is thoroughly investigated to uncover the truth, and address this cover-up Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
