Elie Mystal, a frequent MSNBC guest and legal analyst, sparked controversy with a fiery rant targeting White Americans during a recent segment.
Mystal criticized what he called a “disgusting version of America” and linked it to White voters supporting former President Donald Trump, whose administration has been a lightning rod for political debate.
Mystal’s remarks came during a broader discussion on the implications of the pardons and the political landscape under Trump’s leadership.

Mystal began by expressing frustration over what he described as predictable developments under Trump’s administration.
“We tried to tell you all,” he said. “Ali, I wrote specifically about this issue, what he was going to do to the Department of Justice multiple times during the election cycle. Because as you pointed out in your open, this was all written down.”
He continued, “I don’t like the shock and awe version of this because if you had been paying attention, they wrote it down. They told you exactly what they were going to do and exactly how they were going to do it. A majority of White people voted for this. This is the disgusting version of America that people want.”
Mystal’s comments drew attention not only for their provocative tone but also for their sweeping generalizations about White Americans.

During the same segment, Mystal made a perplexing connection between White Americans and the rising cost of eggs, stating, “And, by the way, eggs are still more expensive so you didn’t even get that, great job, white folks!”
Economic data provides a different context.
According to the Federal Reserve of St. Louis, the average price of a dozen eggs in January 2017, when Trump first assumed office, was approximately $1.32.
Prices remained relatively stable during his presidency.
By contrast, under President Joe Biden’s administration, the average price for a dozen Grade A eggs rose significantly, reaching $4.15 by December 2024—a nearly 200% increase.
The Biden-Harris administration has attributed the spike to factors like avian flu outbreaks and supply chain disruptions, but critics argue broader inflationary policies are to blame.
Mystal also took aim at media coverage of Trump and specific policies such as birthright citizenship and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.
He criticized efforts to “whitewash Trump” and urged the media to scrutinize policy changes more effectively.
“In terms of how we cover it as a media group, we have to stop acting like any of these things have any basis in reality,” Mystal said.
He referred to birthright citizenship and the Civil Rights Act as settled legal matters, accusing the media of “muddying the waters” by engaging in debates on these issues.
Addressing DEI programs, Mystal added, “DEI is a policy invented by white folks to try to stop other white folks from being racist. If they want to end the policy, the next media question shouldn’t be, ‘Oh my God, you’re ending DEI?’ The next media question should be, ‘What are you doing to combat racism in employment and hiring?’”

Mystal’s remarks have sparked strong reactions from viewers and commentators across the political spectrum.
Supporters argue that he is addressing systemic issues, while critics accuse him of inflaming racial tensions and using divisive rhetoric.
This latest outburst adds to the already heated debates surrounding Trump’s presidency, his recent pardons, and the broader cultural and political divides in the United States.
As discussions about race, justice, and policy continue, Mystal’s comments have once again thrust him into the center of public attention.

I will also blame white people! I’ll blame the white liberal voters in Denver County, Jefferson County, and Boulder County, all strong leftist voting areas of Colorado, for passing a law that all chickens that produce eggs have to be cage-free chickens. Sounds great in theory, and even healthier for consumers. However, like most liberal based laws, this wasn’t thought through, and now we consistently have both shortages and higher prices. These are the same people that voted for wolf reintroduction into rural parts of Colorado that have been impacting ranches and family pets in these areas, and the problems are only going to get worse. So where you have leftists governments there will be legislation that makes no sense and has adverse impact.

Who is this twit?
The man has been president for just over a week. It’s going to take a little longer than that to undo the 4 years of destruction caused by the Biden administration. Only an idiot would think things would change overnight, in every possible category that Biden screwed up. These people are just angry and not worth our time.
