Former President Donald Trump didn't hold back Monday as he accused President Joe Biden and the Pentagon of hiding the truth about mysterious drones spotted hovering over New Jersey and New York.
As reported by The New York Post, thousands of residents in the Garden State and New York City reportedly witnessed the aircraft, with some even capturing the bizarre sightings on camera. Yet, the Biden administration claims ignorance—a move Trump isn't buying.

“The government knows what is happening,” said Trump, 78, during a fiery 70-minute press conference in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Look, our military knows where they took off from — if it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went, and for some reason they don’t want to comment.”
In classic Trump fashion, he doubled down on the Pentagon’s alleged silence, stating, “And I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.”

The former president stopped short of confirming whether he had been briefed on the matter, brushing off a reporter’s question with, “I don’t want to comment on that.”

He later speculated, “I can’t imagine it’s the enemy. Because if it was the enemy, they’d blast it out—even if they were late, they’d blast it.”
"Something strange is going on."
Adding a dash of his trademark humor, Trump joked about canceling his weekend trip to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, remarking, “They’re very close to Bedminster. I think maybe I won’t spend the weekend there. I’ve decided to cancel my trip.”

Despite Trump’s bold claims, the Biden administration and the Pentagon remain tight-lipped.

White House spokesman John Kirby downplayed the sightings last week, saying federal, state, and local law enforcement officials have been unable to corroborate any visual evidence.
Still, skepticism lingers, especially as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called for more transparency. “New Yorkers have tremendous questions about [the drones]. We are going to get the answers,” Schumer assured on Sunday.
While the Pentagon and White House declined to respond to media inquiries, Trump's remarks have reignited public interest in the unexplained aerial phenomena.
Whether it’s a matter of national security or something far less sinister, one thing is certain: Americans aren’t letting this mystery fly under the radar.
