Clogging is an amazing form of dance that has been taking dance studios by storm. The modern version of the dance doesn't mimic the Irish and Gaelic cultures of decades past, nor does it involve wooden shoes.

In fact, it has become so modern and popular that Clogging Champions of America was formed to support the dancers interested in clogging competitively.

Some of those dancers advance to the Showdown of Champions, like Madison and Morgan, who recently competed in the competition and were lucky enough to move on. Their amazing dance was captured in the video below.

The pair perform an energetic and fast paced clogging routine tot he song "Hit the Ground Runnin" by Keith Urban. The competition was held in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The girls are dressed in matching plaid shirts and standard black clogging shoes and their ponytails whip around as they execute their dance moves perfectly.

The make quite a pair dancing with their arms crossed and even twirling each other around from time to time. You can hear by the hollering and cheers from the crowd that they love the girls' routine.
