A mob of ICE opponents threatened federal agents and attacked their vehicle while attempting to trap them inside an Oregon parking lot, according to video of the chaotic confrontation. The incident unfolded Saturday in Salem as protesters surrounded a black federal vehicle moving slowly through the area.

Footage shared by The Post Millennial journalist Katie Daviscourt captured the clash between the federal agents and the hostile crowd. Protesters followed the vehicle, shouted profanities, and appeared determined to prevent the agents from leaving the parking lot.

One member of the mob was recorded swinging a baseball bat at the federal vehicle. The blow knocked off a side-view mirror as the vehicle continued creeping through the lot with people clustered around it.

Masked members of the crowd could be seen trailing the vehicle while others tried to block its path. The federal agents remained inside as the confrontation escalated around them.

“Get the f**k out of Salem!” one woman screamed during the incident. Other members of the crowd continued shouting profanities as the vehicle attempted to make its way through the mass of agitators.

Horns blared throughout the confrontation as ICE opponents described as “rapid responders” tried to box in the agents. The footage showed the protesters pressing around the vehicle while the agents attempted to escape the increasingly unruly scene.

Agents eventually deployed tear gas and other “crowd control measures” in an effort to stop the chaos, Daviscourt reported. The footage showed the response coming amid the crowd’s attempts to surround and impede the federal vehicle.

The Saturday confrontation was not the only alarming incident Daviscourt shared from Salem. She also posted footage depicting attacks against ICE agents on Friday, showing that the hostility had continued across separate days.

One Friday clip was first posted by stopice.net and later shared by Daviscourt. In that video, a protester appeared to grab an agent by the neck before throwing a punch.

The agitator was then sprayed with a substance that appeared to be tear gas or mace. The footage presented another close confrontation in which physical aggression was directed at a federal agent.

Conservative commentator Nick Sortor responded on X after viewing the Saturday video shared by Daviscourt. His reaction focused on the repeated physical attacks shown against the ICE personnel.

“Watching ICE heroes get physically attacked over and over is INFURIATING,” Sortor wrote. His post reflected outrage over the footage of agents being surrounded and attacked while carrying out their duties in Salem.

The videos documented several forms of aggression, including efforts to trap agents inside a parking lot, the use of a baseball bat against their vehicle, and apparent physical contact with an agent. The crowd also used horns, shouting, and coordinated blocking efforts during the confrontation.

Saturday’s footage centered on the slow-moving federal vehicle as masked protesters followed closely and attempted to obstruct it. The damaged side-view mirror provided a stark image of just how far the mob was willing to take its parking lot tantrum.

Friday’s footage showed a more direct physical encounter between a protester and an agent. After the apparent neck grab and punch, the protester was sprayed as agents responded to the attack.

ICE did not immediately return a request for comment about the incidents. The available footage, along with Daviscourt’s reporting, showed federal agents facing an aggressive crowd and deploying crowd control tactics as they tried to contain the disorder.
