Stephen Miller laid out what he described as the Trump administration’s record heading into the midterm elections, pointing to immigration enforcement, energy production, foreign policy, taxes, employment, crime, and social policy as areas where the White House believes it has delivered major changes.
Lara Trump opened the exchange by asking how the administration views the approaching midterms.
"Great to sit down with you again. Thank you so much. Where are you guys in terms of these midterm elections from the White House perspective?" Lara Trump asked.
Miller responded by focusing on what he said the administration has accomplished over the previous two years.

"Let's talk some specifics about what happened over the last two years. We've had 16 straight months with zero illegal aliens allowed into the United States," Miller said.
He also pointed to what he described as a major reduction in the drug crisis, tying that change to the administration’s approach toward cartels.
"The scourge of fentanyl has been cut by over 50 percent, and driving that has been the president's declaration that the cartels are foreign terrorist organizations, taking the fight directly to the cartels, which then leads well into the discussion of how he has completely reshaped foreign policy."
Miller argued that President Donald Trump’s foreign policy has produced a broader realignment in the Western Hemisphere, which he said has direct economic consequences for American families.

"He's reshaped the entire Western Hemisphere into a pro-American alliance. What does that mean for you and your family at home? It means abundant, cheaper American energy. It means not being reliant on China or foreign nations for critical minerals and supply chains."
He cited Venezuela as a central example, saying the administration had reached an energy agreement with the country’s new government that dramatically expanded American reserves.
"The pinnacle of this, of course, is Venezuela. Under the new pro-American government, the president entered into the single largest energy deal in American history, doubling America's energy reserves overnight," Miller said.
He paired that claim with the administration’s deregulatory agenda and increased energy production.
"Paired with the largest deregulatory effort in American history, we're now producing for the first time ever more than 2 million barrels a day of American energy in just our offshore outer continental leases alone."
Miller said the administration also expects record production in other domestic resource sectors.
"We're going to set the record this year as well for timber production. We're going to set the record as well for coal production," he said.
He then turned to crime and taxes, describing the administration’s record in both areas as historic.
"The largest reduction in murders since 1900, the largest tax cut in American history, including-and you know the list-no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security."
Employment and the size of the federal government were also part of Miller’s midterm case. He argued that the administration has reduced the federal workforce while private-sector employment has reached record levels.
"We have the smallest federal workforce since 1960, but the largest private employment in American history."
Miller concluded by highlighting social policy changes involving gender clinics, schools, and women’s sports.

"Gender clinics have shut down. Sex changes on children have stopped. This radical ideology is no longer being pushed in school districts all throughout this country. And yes, men are not being allowed anymore in women's sports."
BREAKING: Stephen Miller laid out the Trump record for the midterms, and it's a long list.
Miller says there have been 16 straight months with zero illegal aliens released into the country, and fentanyl is down over 50% after the cartels were declared terrorist organizations. He says the Venezuela energy deal doubled America's reserves overnight, and the U.S. is producing more than 2 million barrels a day. He also credits the administration with the largest reduction in murders since 1900, no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security, gender clinics shutting down, and men no longer allowed in women's sports. Miller's line: on every issue that affects Americans' quality of life, Trump has delivered even more than he promised. Taken together, Miller presented the administration’s midterm argument as one centered on measurable changes across a wide range of policy areas. His case to voters focused on border enforcement, reduced drug trafficking, greater American energy production, lower reliance on foreign supply chains, tax reductions, private employment growth, lower crime and changes to social policy.
Rather than framing the midterms around a single issue, Miller portrayed the election as a referendum on the administration’s broader governing record and the priorities it has pursued over the last two years.
