Terrorist-aligned leftist group learns Maoist war tactics at hidden US ‘Anti-Imperialist Summer Camp’ for teens
Teens waved terrorist flags and learned Maoist war tactics at a radical “Anti-Imperialist Summer Camp” hidden in the Pacific Northwest, The Post has learned. The late August camp, run by the terror-linked Anti-Imperialist Front USA (AIF-USA), was attended by teenagers from their offshoot, Revolutionary Youth, along with community college students and young workers, in the Pacific Northwest, according to materials provided to The Post by education watchdog group the North American Values Institute (NAVI). Pictures from the trip showed nearly 20 hoodie- and bandana-clad campers sitting around a fire alongside flags from several terrorist groups, one of which read “Victory to the Axis of Resistance!” — the network that includes Hamas, the Houthis and Hezbollah. Another picture shows the campers displaying flags from The Islamic Republic of Iran, the Palestinian flag, a green flag displaying the Shahada — the Muslim declaration of faith, and the Hezbollah flag. The campers studied documents from multiple foreign communist groups that have been designated as terrorist organizations in their home countries, according to a since-deleted Aug. 21 post on their website. “High schoolers are being led into a dangerous, violent ideology by groups associated with terrorist organizations.” Link to article in comments ⬇️ — Amanda (@AHD_from_TX) October 10, 2026

Materials about the camp were provided to The Post by the North American Values Institute, an education watchdog group known as NAVI. The exact location of the gathering in the Pacific Northwest was not immediately clear.
According to an Aug. 21 website post that was later deleted, campers studied documents produced by several foreign communist groups designated as terrorist organizations in their own countries.
One of those organizations was the Communist Party of Peru, also known as Shining Path. The group killed more than 35,000 people during its effort to overthrow the Peruvian government, an armed campaign launched in 1980, and countless other people disappeared.
“These studies deepened participant’s [sic] grasp of the international significance of the People’s Wars in Peru, Turkey, India, and the Philippines. As the People’s Wars across the globe showcase the only path to freedom for the working class and oppressed peoples,” the website stated.

Campers also studied the Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist Leninist, which was founded in 1972 for the purpose of “armed struggle.” The Turkish government has designated it as a terrorist group, and the organization has conducted numerous kidnappings and attacks against Turkish soldiers and police.
The Communist Party of India (Maoist) was another subject of study at the camp. Formed in 2004, that organization has committed more than 4,000 terrorist attacks since its founding, according to the South Asia Terrorist Portal.
Revolutionary Youth chapters are springing up in high schools across the country and planning a mass walkout "for Palestine" on October 7.
Revolutionary Youth is affiliated with the Anti-Imperialist Front-USA, a "Marxist-Leninist-Maoist-Communist Party." AIF-USA has held an "anti-imperialist" summer camp for Revolutionary Youth members. AIF-USA says it members must learn from Hezbollah and praises October 7. Revolutionary Youth has coordinated actions and held meetings with groups identified as part of the PFLP-linked network in the United States. The camp’s program mixed ideological study with physical activities and revolutionary music. “Camaraderie was strengthened through physical discipline cultivated through sports and collective singing of revolutionary songs. Exercise and diligent study strengthened comrades revolutionary optimist spirits,” the group’s website said.
An Aug. 25 post on the Revolutionary Youth Instagram page said its Seattle chapter attended alongside chapters from Bellevue, Puget Sound, Bellingham, and Isiquah.

NAVI Director of Research Mika Hackner said Revolutionary Youth recruits new members from high school campuses throughout the West Coast by organizing class walkouts. The most recent cited walkouts occurred on the anniversary of Oct. 7.
“High schoolers are being led into a dangerous, violent ideology by groups associated with terrorist organizations,” Hackner said.
The AIF-USA website was hosted on servers operated by the Italian extremist organization Autistici/Inventati, also known as the A/I Collective. The Treasury Department sanctioned the organization, while the State Department designated it a Global Terrorist group in August.
“Autistici/Inventati (A/I Collective) is an Italy-based extremist group that builds and operates the digital infrastructure for violent Antifa cells and other far-left militants across the world,” the State Department stated.
Following the Aug. 26 terrorist designation, the organization’s servers were no longer available in the United States, and the AIF-USA website was taken down.
The A/I Collective provided services including web hosting, encrypted chats, email, and video conferencing to terrorist organizations, according to the Treasury Department. Those clients included Masar Badil, described as a front for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
AIF-USA also trains members using lessons from Hezbollah, the terrorist group backed by Iran, according to a worksheet titled “Learn from Hezbollah.” Hezbollah has launched approximately 20,000 rockets at civilian targets in northern Israel since Oct. 7, 2023.
