=George Clooney is reportedly standing beside Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber following the death of their only son, model Presley Gerber.

Presley died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility in California at the age of 27.

Clooney, 65, reportedly rushed to support Crawford, 60, and Rande, 64, after learning what had happened. Crawford and Rande have been married since 1998.

Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, 48, were seen arriving Tuesday at the Los Angeles home of Presley’s sister, Kaia Gerber, 25. The visit came as the family grieved the devastating loss.

George has been a longtime friend of the Gerber family and has launched multiple businesses with Rande.

His connection to the family is so close that the Gerber children have referred to him as “Uncle George.”

“George would spend hours talking to Presley,” a source close to the family told Daily Mail.

“George is the nicest guy in the world and would do anything to help Rande’s family.”

According to the insider, George offered Presley guidance after Presley received a DUI in 2018. More recently, the actor reportedly sent him loving notes expressing that he remained available to help.

The source described George as “close” with Presley and said he viewed him as more than simply the child of a friend. According to the insider, the two shared a genuine bond.

Following Presley’s death, George has reportedly focused on providing emotional support to both Crawford and Rande.

The source said the actor feels terrible for the entire family and wants them to understand that they can turn to him.

“He feels absolutely awful for Rande and the entire family,” the insider added. “And he wants them to know that he is there for them in any way, shape or form. George has always been the person people turn to when they’re going through something, and with something of this magnitude, that isn’t going to change.”

“It doesn’t matter how busy he is or what he has going on in his own life — if Rande or anyone in the family needs him, everything else stops,” the source concluded.

“It’s really that simple. That’s what family does.”

Insiders previously told TMZ that Presley did not appear to be sober when he checked into the luxury Resolutions Living rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica.

He entered the facility on Saturday night, only hours before his death.

Presley was found unresponsive at the facility the following morning. Police were called at approximately 9:35 AM Sunday regarding a suspected overdose.

A Santa Monica Police Department spokesperson confirmed Monday that officers found an unresponsive individual at the facility and performed lifesaving measures.

Presley could not be saved and was pronounced dead ten minutes later.

“On September 20, 2026, at approximately 9.35am, Santa Monica Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible overdose in the 1000 block of Berkeley Street,” the spokesperson said. “Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased.”

“SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose,” the spokesperson added. “At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing.”

Presley had reportedly been staying with roommates in a separate house located on the grounds of the rehabilitation facility.

He had arrived Saturday night before being discovered unresponsive the next morning.

“Death was pronounced at 09.45 hours on September 20, 2026, by responding paramedics,” the medical examiner’s office said in a statement Monday.

As the investigation continues, Crawford, Rande and Kaia are grieving with support from those closest to them, including George and Amal Clooney.
