New police station footage shows convicted drunk driver Jamie Lee Komoroski moaning, crying, and demanding special treatment after a horrific crash killed a bride on her wedding night.

Instead of showing concern for the people she had just struck, Komoroski appeared consumed by her own inconvenience.

Komoroski, now 27, had been bar hopping in Folly Beach, South Carolina, before climbing behind the wheel of a rented Toyota Camry on April 28, 2023.

She then slammed into a golf cart carrying newlyweds and two wedding guests away from a beachside reception.

Authorities determined Komoroski was traveling 65 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone.

Her blood alcohol level was also three times the legal limit, creating the deadly combination of extreme intoxication and reckless speed.

Bride Samantha Hutchinson, 34, was killed in the collision on what should have been one of the happiest nights of her life.

Her husband, Aric Hutchinson, 36, and the two other passengers suffered serious injuries.

The devastating facts apparently did little to inspire immediate accountability from Komoroski.

While being taken into custody, she insisted that she “didn’t do anything wrong,” even as first responders dealt with the carnage left behind.

Her attitude continued after officers brought her to the Folly Beach police station.

Footage obtained by WCSC shows Komoroski sitting with her hands cuffed behind her back while wearing a sports bra, an open flannel shirt, and torn black jeans.

Rather than asking about the victims, Komoroski complained about how quickly she could leave.

“I just wanna like, get this over with and go home,” she tearfully bellyached, apparently treating the arrest like an irritating delay rather than the consequence of a fatal crash.

Komoroski then became fixated on calling her father.

“I can’t call my dad?” she asked after an officer informed her that she was not yet permitted to make a telephone call.

Her next move was denial, despite the destroyed golf cart, injured survivors, and dead bride left at the crash scene.

“Well, what did I do?” she asked, as though the officers had somehow interrupted an otherwise ordinary night out.

She then demanded access to her family while declaring that investigators lacked evidence.

“Nobody has any proof of anything that I did, so give me the right to call my dad,” she commanded.

At one point, Komoroski noticed a wall-mounted camera recording her behavior.

She greeted it with “Oh, hi camera,” before launching into an angry complaint about officers refusing to let her contact her father and insisting that authorities had proven nothing.

The performance then shifted into open mockery.

“Ooh, I’m being just a little baby,” Komoroski said sarcastically, delivering a line that would later look particularly grim beside the suffering caused by her drunken choices.

The footage offers a jarring picture of misplaced outrage.

A bride was dead, a groom had been seriously injured, and other wedding guests were hurt, yet Komoroski focused on going home, calling her father, and challenging the officers holding her.

Komoroski eventually pleaded guilty to felony DUI, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury or death, and reckless homicide.

A judge sentenced her to 25 years in prison, ensuring that the consequences she tried to deny at the police station would follow her for decades.

No sentence can restore Samantha Hutchinson’s life or give her family back the wedding night that was stolen from them.

The station footage does, however, reveal the staggering entitlement of a driver who caused irreversible devastation and then acted as though she were the victim.
