Novelist and Hollywood producer Stephen King has publicly voiced his support for Maine Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner, who is facing a new rape allegation that has cast a shadow over his campaign against Senator Susan Collins, as reported by Breitbart.

King, known as the author of It and an outspoken critic of Republicans, shared his thoughts on social media, saying he hoped Platner would remain in the race despite the accusation.
