President Donald Trump released new concept images Sunday showing the rooftop of his proposed White House Ballroom, including a feature he described as a “DronePort” designed to help protect Washington, D.C.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the images were posted to Trump’s Truth Social account on Sunday afternoon and showed the proposed rooftop design for the ballroom. The project has drawn attention after a federal judge previously ruled that Trump lacked the legal authority to construct the new 90,000-square-foot ballroom.
In his Truth Social post, Trump said the DronePort would be a major security feature at the White House complex.

“The DronePort at the White House Ballroom will be, perhaps, the most sophisticated anywhere in the World!” Trump wrote.
“It will safeguard our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C., long into the future,” Trump added.
Trump also criticized Judge Richard Leon, who had ruled against the project.
USA Today reported that Trump presented the rooftop DronePort as another justification for the ballroom and bunker project under the East Wing of the White House. The report said Trump described the drone facility as necessary to defend the nation’s capital from modern threats.

According to USA Today, Trump made the comments in a Truth Social post on Sunday, May 31, after Leon allowed a lawsuit challenging the project to move forward.
Trump also accused the judge of putting national security at risk by slowing the project.
“Judge Richard Leon should stop playing games with America’s Security!” Trump wrote. “If anything happens, he will be held responsible for the Death and Destruction caused to our Country.”

The White House Ballroom proposal has been described as a massive new addition that includes a ballroom and bunker beneath the East Wing. Trump’s latest post focused on the rooftop DronePort, which he said would be among the most advanced in the world.
The president’s comments came after he said last week that the roof of the new ballroom would be built with “impentratable steel” capable of withstanding a direct attack.
The concept images were released as the legal fight over the project continues. Trump’s post framed the DronePort as part of a broader security plan for Washington, D.C., while Leon’s ruling kept the court challenge alive.
The project remains under scrutiny as Trump continues to argue that the White House expansion is tied to national security needs.
