New developments in the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel have emerged following reports of a major strike targeting Iranian leadership, along with ongoing military activity and search-and-rescue operations in the region.
Correspondent Mike Tobin reported that President Donald Trump publicly addressed the strike, which was accompanied by video footage shared on Truth Social.
“Well, we start you with a new development,” Tobin said.
“Tommy, the president, is boasting another mass assassination of Iranian leaders who gathered together.”

He added, “The President posted on truth social many of Iran's leaders who have led them poorly and unwisely are terminated.”
Tobin said the post included video of an airstrike and aligned with other reports circulating at the time.
“He posted it with a video of an airstrike,” Tobin said.
“It coincides with information from a telegram channel that more than 50 senior Iranian officials were eliminated in a combined strike from Israeli and US forces.”

He noted that Israeli officials have denied involvement in the operation.
“Israel should be noted, denies participation in this one,” Tobin said.
At the same time, U.S. forces have been engaged in recovery operations after an aircraft was downed.
“The search continues for a weapon systems operator missing from a US F 18 e that was shot down Friday over Southwestern Iran,” Tobin said.
He confirmed that the pilot from the aircraft had been rescued.
“That pilot was rescued,” he said.
Tobin also described the conditions surrounding the rescue effort.
“The mission rescued. The mission to rescue. The pilot came under enemy fire,” he said.
“Two helicopters were damaged and some crew members were injured, but they landed safely.”
He added that additional aircraft were impacted during the operation.
“An A-10 Warthog was was hit and crashed near the Strait of Hormuz,” Tobin said. “That pilot also rescued.”
Meanwhile, Iranian state media has responded with messaging directed at the public.

An Iranian television host issued a call to civilians in a broadcast concerning the missing U.S. airman.
“Residents of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, dear and honorable people,” the host said.
“If you capture the enemy pilot or pilots alive and hand them over to the police, you will receive a precious prize.”
Tobin reported that this message was part of efforts to locate the missing crew member following the aircraft incident.
“An anchor on state controlled TV in Iran, put out a bounty on the missing airman, encouraging people to turn them over to police,” he said.
In parallel with these developments, Israeli military operations have continued inside Iran.
“The Israeli Defense Force, meantime, released a remarkable video of a missile launcher being taken out in northwestern Iran,” Tobin said.
He said the strike was aimed at preventing an imminent attack.
