Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was the target of a viral video shared by President Donald Trump on Truth Social Monday, where he mocked her over allegations of insider trading and referenced the 2022 attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi.

The video, which quickly spread across social media platforms, depicted a parody of Pelosi lamenting financial troubles and personal issues.
In the clip, Pelosi is shown complaining about losing access to stock market information since leaving Congress.
“Since I left Congress, my trades are sh*t,” the video’s Pelosi character says. “I can’t get any insider information anymore.”
The parody continues with additional lines directed at her personal life.

“And these f**kers won’t tell me anything anymore!” the Pelosi character adds.
“So I’ve been drinking a lot more, my husband’s still in love with a homeless hammer guy, visiting him in jail and sh*t. So, it hasn’t been easy, OK?”
While the video is satirical, it drew widespread attention online, with supporters of the president calling it one of his most direct jabs at Pelosi since she stepped down from leadership.

The parody also reignited discussion of the 2022 break-in at the Pelosi residence in San Francisco, when Paul Pelosi was violently attacked.
The incident took place in November of that year, when an intruder entered the home and struck Paul Pelosi with a hammer.
At the time, Paul Pelosi was found in his underwear holding a drink when police arrived.
David DePape, the man convicted of breaking into the home and carrying out the assault, was sentenced in 2024 to 30 years in prison.
The case drew national attention and has continued to be referenced in political debates.
The video’s circulation also revived longstanding criticism directed at Nancy Pelosi regarding her stock trading activity during her time in Congress.
Pelosi and her husband’s financial dealings were frequently questioned by critics, who alleged that her access to nonpublic information as a congressional leader gave her family an advantage in the stock market.
Pelosi has consistently denied wrongdoing.
Trump’s use of satire through Truth Social has become a regular feature of his political messaging, often sparking reactions from both supporters and opponents.
Monday’s post came as Pelosi continues to serve in Congress as a representative from California, though she no longer holds the speaker’s gavel.
The reaction to the video highlights the ongoing tensions between Trump and Pelosi, whose rivalry was one of the defining features of his first term in office.
Pelosi frequently clashed with Trump during her time as speaker, including during his two impeachments, and Trump has often targeted her in public remarks and on social media.
The video, though satirical, ensured that Pelosi once again found herself at the center of controversy.
