Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe Biden, issued a public statement on Sunday amid growing scrutiny over her father’s cognitive health, the use of an auto-pen for official documents, and recent reports of medical concerns.
Her remarks came in the form of an Instagram post featuring a beach photo with her parents and a lengthy caption defending her father’s conduct and legacy.
The statement follows weeks of controversy surrounding the 81-year-old Biden, including confirmation of a prostate cancer diagnosis, revelations from a forthcoming book by CNN anchor Jake Tapper regarding his mental decline, and a Department of Justice investigation into pardons and executive orders allegedly signed without his direct authorization.
On Friday, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) appeared on Hannity and disclosed that a whistleblower had informed him of incidents suggesting Joe Biden had exhibited severe disorientation.

“The guy, literally stumbling around in the White House residence, couldn't find his way out of his own closet,” Hawley said, citing the unnamed source.

Ashley Biden, 42, responded to the growing criticism in a strongly worded message.
“The ONLY coverup of this family is a BEACH coverup,” she wrote, referring to the accompanying family photo.
“The truth is, Dad gave his ALL to America and continues ’til this day.”

She defended her father’s fitness for office, claiming he had never failed to fulfill his responsibilities.
“He NEVER gave up on you…The man has led his life by ACTIONS not words,” she wrote.
“He aged, YES… But he was always MORE than capable of doing the job. And a damn good one. He worked harder than anyone I have ever known—he took his duty and sacred obligation to this country very seriously.”
Ashley also criticized media coverage of her father’s health and presidency.
“The noise is so DAMN disrespectful and untrue…AND, it’s just that—noise/static—created by those committed to perpetuating and profiting from some real BS,” she stated.
“Get lost with your anonymous sources and fake news.”
Her remarks come amid continued fallout over the so-called “auto-pen scandal,” in which multiple executive orders and pardons reportedly signed in Biden’s name are under review.
Pardon attorney Ed Martin, who also leads the DOJ’s weaponization task force, recently confirmed that an investigation is underway into whether others may have signed official documents on Biden’s behalf during a period when he may not have been cognitively able to do so.

The probe includes scrutiny of multiple preemptive pardons issued to Biden family members just prior to President Donald Trump’s second inauguration, along with 37 commutations of federal death row inmates.
Ashley Biden concluded her post by thanking supporters and asserting that her family remains hopeful.
“I am super grateful for the love and support over the past few weeks,” she wrote.
“We, like any family, chose HOPE during times of great despair/uphill battles. And we continue—to choose hope. That’s what Dad taught + gave us. And all your support continues to give him HOPE—for his own healing, for this country he so loves and for the world he united.”
