Elon Musk took center stage at a rally on Sunday in support of Judge Brad Schimel’s campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, addressing a crowd of supporters with a sharp rebuttal to the media’s portrayal of potential cuts to Medicaid under the Trump administration.

Musk, known for his advocacy on government transparency and accountability, did not hold back as he challenged the misinformation circulating about healthcare and entitlement programs.

Musk, who has increasingly become a vocal critic of media narratives and a defender of conservative values, warned that the upcoming race could have significant implications for the future of both the United States and Western civilization.

He stressed the high stakes involved, pointing out that control of America’s institutions could shift dramatically depending on the results of judicial races like Schimel’s.

“This race could impact the future of America and Western Civilization,” Musk told the energized crowd, pointing to the importance of GOP control of the House of Representatives, which is currently on the line.

He also raised concerns about the Democratic Party’s attempts to leverage a far-left court for redistricting, particularly as Democrats hope to redraw congressional districts to their advantage.

The rally reached a new level of intensity when Musk invited his longtime ally, Antonio Gracias, founder of Valor Equity Partners and a key figure in Musk’s digital government efficiency project known as DOGE. Gracias shared bombshell findings from their ongoing investigation into Social Security and Medicaid records.

Gracias revealed that under Joe Biden’s administration, the number of non-citizens receiving Social Security numbers surged dramatically.

According to his data, the figure jumped from 270,000 in 2021 to a staggering 2.1 million in 2024, raising serious questions about the integrity of government entitlement programs.

Musk wasted no time following up with a strong statement, dismissing the media’s false claims about President Trump and the GOP cutting vital programs like Medicaid and Social Security.

“DOGE will make sure you get your Social Security,” Musk declared, earning loud applause from the crowd. “DOGE will make sure you get your Medicaid. There will be no cuts to legitimate payments—whatsoever.”

This bold promise came in direct contrast to the false media narrative surrounding the Trump administration.

Musk pointed to a White House press release from earlier this month, which reaffirmed President Trump’s stance that there would be no cuts to Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid benefits.

“The Trump Administration will not cut Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid benefits. President Trump himself has said it (over and over and over again),” Musk emphasized.

Musk directly addressed the press, accusing them of spreading lies. “The waste and fraud in entitlement spending — which is most of the federal spending is entitlements — so, that’s, like, the big one to eliminate. That’s the, sort of half-trillion, maybe $6-700 billion a year,” Musk said.

His comments were backed by hard facts. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimates that taxpayers lose as much as $521 billion annually to fraud, with much of that coming from entitlement programs like Medicare and Medicaid.

Additionally, the federal government has reportedly made an estimated $2.7 trillion in “improper payments” over the past two decades, with the majority being payments made to deceased individuals or those no longer eligible for benefits.

The Social Security Administration also faces scrutiny for improper payments, with an estimated $72 billion in improper payments between 2015 and 2022.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has reported over $140 billion in improper payments in 2024 alone, further highlighting the inefficiencies in the system.

Musk’s statements sparked a larger conversation about the need for government reform and accountability, especially when it comes to entitlement programs that cost taxpayers billions of dollars annually.

His message was clear: eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in government spending is critical for the future of the country and for the protection of legitimate entitlement payments.

The rally, which focused on supporting Judge Brad Schimel’s bid for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, also highlighted the importance of controlling the nation’s courts and institutions, stressing that the future of American democracy is at stake.

Musk’s passionate defense of Trump’s policies and his call for transparency in government spending resonated with the crowd, marking another significant moment in his increasingly prominent political advocacy.
