Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who ran alongside Kamala Harris in the failed 2024 presidential bid, is back in the headlines for yet another unhinged rant.

This time, Walz claimed that America is being stolen by “fascists and Nazis,” according to a recording obtained by Alpha News.

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz speaks at a voter appreciation event at Whitewater Music Hall in Wausau, Wis. on Friday, September 13, 2024.

As The Daily Caller reported, the recording reportedly captures Walz defending his party’s aggressive protests against President Donald Trump and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) overseer Elon Musk.

The comments were allegedly made at a Minnesota Nurses Association event and were passed along by Republican Minnesota State Senator Nate Wesenberg.

“I see the pundits on TV [asking], ‘What’s wrong with the Democratic Party?’ What’s wrong is our country is being stolen by fascists and Nazis, and we’re trying to do all we can to try and [stop] that!"

This isn’t the first time Walz has tossed around inflammatory rhetoric. Back in January, he accused Elon Musk of giving a Nazi salute during the inaugural parade at the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C. Musk has categorically denied the accusation, calling it an outright falsehood.

During a January 28 interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Walz doubled down on his bizarre claim.

“We spent three days, you know, having them try to debate whether President Musk gave a Nazi salute. Of course, he did. But that is a distraction.”

For someone who claims to be fighting so-called fascists, Walz seems awfully comfortable throwing around baseless smears that diminish actual historical atrocities.

Musk, who has been a vocal advocate for the Jewish community, extended his arm in solidarity with them at the event, not as some deranged gesture of hate.

Walz also made sure to drag President Trump into his latest tirade. He compared Trump’s massive rally at Madison Square Garden to a 1939 pro-Nazi event held at the same venue.

Apparently, in Walz’s world, holding a rally in a historically significant location automatically ties you to its darkest moments—unless, of course, you’re a Democrat.

After all, former President Bill Clinton and other high-profile Democrats have hosted events in the same arena without any of these ridiculous comparisons.

Walz’s meltdown is just the latest in the left’s long-running fearmongering campaign. Leading up to the 2024 election, then-Vice President Kamala Harris infamously accused Trump of being a “fascist” during a CNN town hall just weeks before Election Day.

The left spent the entire campaign screaming that Trump posed an “existential threat to democracy.” Now, months later, they’re still at it, pushing the narrative that the U.S. is in a “constitutional crisis” because Trump’s administration is cutting wasteful government spending.

Meanwhile, as Walz and his party continue spewing hyperbolic nonsense, the American people are seeing through the hysteria. Their over-the-top rhetoric isn’t about protecting democracy—it’s about clinging to power and demonizing their political opponents.

As of now, Walz’s office has not responded to requests for comment, and neither has Wesenberg. But given the governor’s history, it’s safe to say he won’t be walking back his remarks anytime soon.
