SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly predicted Tuesday that ongoing legal challenges against President Donald Trump’s administration will ultimately work in his favor.

Speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show, she argued that most of the cases filed by Democrats are unlikely to succeed in court.

On Monday, Democrats and a group of legal scholars claimed Trump’s efforts to cut government waste amounted to a “constitutional crisis,” according to The New York Times.

Kelly addressed these claims, stating that Democrats seem to believe they have found “the speed bump they’ve been looking for” and have responded by filing numerous lawsuits against the administration.

Kelly emphasized that the Trump administration has complied with judicial rulings, adding that a true constitutional crisis would only occur if his team refused to follow court orders.

“The Trump administration, I think, is going to do it. They haven’t said, ‘We’re not going to do it,’” Kelly said.

“If the judge says do it and the Trump team says, ‘We refuse,’ then we’re closer to actually having a crisis between the branches. This judge is going to get overruled. The executive branch is allowed to control a lot of how the money gets spent, whether it gets spent.”

Kelly noted that while Trump cannot unilaterally shut down entire agencies authorized by Congress, his administration has considerable authority over federal spending.

“They can’t shut down entire agencies that are authorized by Congress, but they do have a lot of control over money and whether to spend it. I realize that these various plaintiffs don’t like that,” Kelly continued.

“The Democrats don’t like that. But it’s going to play out in the courts.”

She also argued that most of the lawsuits will likely favor Trump.

“I think in, as I said last night, nine out of 10 of these cases is going to go Trump’s way,” Kelly said.

“So we are not at a constitutional crisis yet. He has not flipped the bird to any judge telling him he must do something yet. Who has done that? Joe Biden. That actually was Joe Biden. I don’t remember these same people freaking out.”

Legal opposition to Trump’s policies intensified after he signed executive orders on January 20 to terminate birthright citizenship and freeze foreign aid.

By February 3, Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), revealed during an X Spaces discussion that he and Trump had agreed to overhaul the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Under the new structure, USAID will be placed under the leadership of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Reports later emerged detailing USAID’s spending, revealing that billions of taxpayer dollars had been funneled into international programs.

Some of these funds allegedly supported left-wing social engineering efforts abroad, while others were at risk of being diverted to the Taliban or organizations linked to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Meanwhile, during former President Joe Biden’s tenure, he had proposed a sweeping overhaul of the U.S. Supreme Court following a ruling on Trump’s immunity case.

The move was widely criticized by conservatives, who viewed it as an attempt to undermine judicial independence.

As the legal battles unfold, Kelly maintained that the courts will ultimately side with Trump, dismissing claims of a constitutional crisis as political posturing by his opponents.
