Former FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok has cleared his X account as Trump nominee Kash Patel advances toward confirmation as FBI Director.
The move comes just days after the Senate Judiciary Committee approved Patel’s nomination, sending it to the full Senate for a final vote.
Over the weekend, Strzok’s social media presence on X was wiped, removing posts and interactions from his account.

The timing has raised questions, particularly given Strzok’s role in the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation and his involvement in controversial text messages about former President Donald Trump.

Strzok, who was fired from the FBI in 2018 for policy violations, played a key role in launching the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation in July 2016.
As part of that probe, he exchanged numerous text messages with FBI lawyer Lisa Page, some of which revealed their intent to prevent Trump from winning the presidency.
One of the most notable messages from August 15, 2016, referenced an “insurance policy” against a Trump victory. Strzok wrote to Page:
“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office…that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected…but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk.”
He followed up by saying, “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”
Another message from Strzok explicitly stated, “We’ll stop” Trump from becoming president.

These texts, once classified, were eventually declassified and exposed to the public.
Kash Patel, a former top deputy to House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, played a major role in exposing the flaws in the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe.
In a recent interview, Patel addressed Strzok’s involvement, pointing out how he and Page manipulated the justice system while engaging in an extramarital affair.
Patel also criticized the Department of Justice for recently awarding Strzok and Page a reported $2 million settlement over the release of their text messages.
“Here’s the deep state in full circle,” Patel said.
“Just last week, do you know what Strzok and Page received from the Department of Justice? A [$2 million] payout to settle a lawsuit that Strzok and Page brought for the improper disclosure of their personal text messages on FBI phones. And the DOJ just rewarded them.”

Patel further argued that these actions demonstrate how Washington insiders used their power to target Trump politically.
He emphasized the importance of declassifying documents to expose what he calls “deep state corruption.”
With Patel’s confirmation vote approaching, his critics and supporters alike are watching closely.
If confirmed, he will take over leadership of the FBI, an agency that has been under scrutiny for its handling of politically charged investigations.

Strzok’s decision to erase his X account just as Patel moves closer to confirmation has fueled speculation about what may have been removed.
Whether Patel, if confirmed, will push for further investigations into the FBI’s past handling of political cases remains to be seen.

I am looking at this not just as an everyday American with political policy preferences,but also as a former federal LEO who completed an undergraduate Criminal Justice Administration and a criminology degree.
Strzok, Mueller, Sally Yates, Loretta Lynch, Comey, McCabe all share numerous things in common.
So here we are these eight years later.
Not one of the FISA judges they perjured themselves to, judges whom have been handing out Draconian sentences to J6 defendants who did nothing but take a selfie on the lawn at the three hour J6 riot, have dragged a single one of them back into their courtrooms to sentence them for the felonies they committed right in front of them, in their courtrooms.
They are getting implicit judicial approval of the felonies they repeatedly committed while illegally stripping Trump and thousands of Americans of their civil rights by color of law – another felony,
Serial felonies in Washington DC circuit court rooms, felonies which these judges provided cover for and are now complicit in.
Not a single one of these former Obama Attorney Generals, Obama FBI Directors and FBI Washington DC lawyers have been indicted, despite numerous referrals for prosecution some received.
Not a single one of them have been stripped of their membership in the Washington DC Bar Association, despite their serial blatant violation of that bar association’s code of ethics.
Not even the Republicans have done anything actually meaningful to bring them to justice. That includes Trump’s last Attorney General Bill Barr and his Special Counsel John Durham – both also lawyer members of the Washington DC Bar Association.
And that includes President Trump, who in the last year of his first term as president, not even in the closing days, chose not to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate every single one of these people who committed these serial felonies.
It isn’t about Trump, although it was all done with the intent to take Trump out.
It’s more about the thousands of Americans who were stripped of their civil rights through these felonies, to be hunted, questioned, and coerced in hopes they might be the person that could give the FBI/Mueller something to indict Trump with.
That’s the state of American law enforcement, the standard set by the highest law enforcement and courts in this country.
And as knowledgeable as Kash Patel is regarding how deep the criminality runs in the DoJ and FBI, I don’t believe either he or Trump are willing to go to the wall with the necessary measures to at least publicly identify and excise the streak of criminality in the DoJ and FBI that is a cancer injected by the Washington DC Bar Association.
