While the left often downplays or outright ignores the defensive use of firearms, statistics paint a different picture.

This research, which first gained national attention in 1993 through the National Self-Defense Survey, has withstood scrutiny despite efforts from gun control advocates to discredit it.

Professor Kleck’s work remains a cornerstone in the debate over the real impact of firearms on public safety. The numbers don’t lie: armed citizens save lives.

Critics of the Second Amendment often sidestep these statistics, but cases like this Alabama incident serve as a sobering reminder of the importance of self-defense rights.

While the mainstream media may focus on isolated incidents to push an anti-gun agenda, the silent majority of defensive gun uses often go unnoticed.

Thankfully, in this case, the store clerk was prepared, and lives were potentially saved because of it.

With the investigation still ongoing, the outcome may offer further insights into how defensive firearm use plays a critical role in deterring crime.

One thing is clear: when law-abiding citizens exercise their rights responsibly, they serve as the first line of defense against criminals who wish to do harm.
