Among the high-profile events she will organize are America’s 250th anniversary celebrations in 2026, the FIFA World Cup scheduled for the same year, and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

“Monica will be the Administration Representative for major U.S.-hosted events,” Trump wrote. He praised Crowley as a “New York Times bestselling author” and commended her previous work in his administration, where she served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs.

Crowley, who holds a doctorate in international relations from Columbia University, is recognized for her sharp political commentary on Fox News and Fox Business Network.

Her appointment reflects Trump’s continued practice of selecting media-savvy figures with strong conservative credentials for key roles in his administration.

In addition to her media presence, Crowley has an extensive background in public service.

During Trump’s first term, she was instrumental in promoting the administration’s economic and foreign policy goals.

Her work at the Treasury Department earned her the prestigious Alexander Hamilton Award, recognizing her contributions to public affairs.

Crowley’s early career included a close professional relationship with former President Richard Nixon.

As his research assistant from 1990 to 1994, she contributed to his final two books and later authored two publications detailing her time with him: Nixon Off the Record: His Candid Commentary on People and Politics and Nixon in Winter.

Crowley also made her mark as a political analyst, beginning her television career with Fox News in 1996.

She hosted the nationally syndicated The Monica Crowley Show and contributed articles to major outlets, including The Washington Times and The Wall Street Journal.

This appointment marks Crowley’s return to a prominent government position after stepping back from a prior role during Trump’s first term.

Crowley has since remained a steadfast Trump ally, often appearing on conservative media platforms to advocate for his policies and criticize traditional media outlets.

As Chief of Protocol, Crowley will play a pivotal role in managing relations with foreign dignitaries and ensuring smooth diplomatic exchanges.

The position requires a keen understanding of international etiquette, logistics, and event planning—skills Crowley is expected to bring to the role.

The move underlines Trump’s strategy of relying on loyalists as he prepares to re-enter the Oval Office in January.

Crowley’s blend of government experience, academic expertise, and media influence positions her as a strategic choice for the high-profile role.

With a packed schedule of major international events ahead, Crowley’s work will be critical in shaping America’s image on the global stage during Trump’s second term.
