Former President Donald Trump recently took to social media in response to remarks made by billionaire Mark Cuban, who suggested that Trump surrounds himself with no “strong, intelligent women.”

Cuban’s statement drew backlash from Trump’s supporters and prompted the former president to deliver his own pointed reply.

Cuban’s comments implied that Trump is unable to work with accomplished women, a claim that led Trump to defend the women in his circle.

Trump, who has largely limited his social media activity to focus on his campaign, couldn’t resist responding to Cuban.

In his retort, Trump didn’t hold back, delivering what some have called a classic Trump “mean tweet” with a jab at Cuban’s golf skills, stating, “No clubhead speed!”

“Mark Cuban, a really dumb guy, who thinks he’s “hot stuff” but he’s absolutely nothing, is now out there saying that I don’t surround myself with strong women. Actually, he is very wrong, I surround myself with the strongest of women – With the understanding that ALL women are great, whether strong or not strong. This guy is such a fool, he’s constantly on Television being critical, and only for the reason that I tuned him out completely while President because he called incessantly. I told him, very pointedly, “Look Mark, I’ve got a lot of things to do, I just can’t be taking so many pointless calls from you.” In any event, that affected him greatly, because he’s a very insecure guy, and a MAJOR LOSER, always has been and always will be! Nobody likes him, nobody respects him, and he’s unattractive both inside and out! He should go back to talk about the person he was forced to support, because I didn’t want it, Lyin’ Kamala Harris. Also, he’s got no clubhead speed!

I may, in fact, be surrounded by the strongest women in the World, including Heads of Countries, who make Mark look like a “baby!” All strong women, and women in general, should be very angry about this weak man’s statement.”

This particular insult struck a chord in the golfing world, where clubhead speed is often seen as a benchmark of skill.

Trump’s jab at Cuban recalls a memorable moment during a past presidential debate with Joe Biden, where Trump laughed at Biden’s claim of a six handicap—a notable remark for those familiar with golfing rankings and performance.

In response to Cuban’s comments, Trump’s campaign also released a statement from several women who have worked with Trump or supported him throughout his political career.

The statement was intended to underscore Trump’s strong support from professional women who reject Cuban’s portrayal.

This defense comes as Kamala Harris and her campaign struggle with internal challenges, as well as diminishing support among certain demographics.

Harris has faced reports of high staff turnover and has been criticized for her campaign’s lack of cohesion.

In contrast, Trump’s team highlighted his support for women in his circle, contrasting it with the issues that Harris’s team has faced in recent months.

Trump’s defense and the accompanying statements from his female supporters emphasize a key difference in campaign messaging as both candidates gear up for the upcoming election.
