“My message to Americans tonight is simple: We do not have to live this way,” Trump said. “We do not have to settle for weakness, incompetence, decline, and decay.”

Pointing to what he called “catastrophic failures” under Kamala Harris and the Biden administration, Trump reminded the crowd of what he described as a reversal of progress made during his presidency. “Over the past four years, Americans have suffered one catastrophic failure, betrayal, and humiliation after another,” Trump stated.

He emphasized his belief that the country has experienced an economic downturn and weakened national security since the Biden administration took office. “We handed them something beautiful, and they blew it,” he said, referencing the economy and border security.

Trump also discussed the ongoing southern border crisis, reiterating promises he made at a rally in North Carolina. He vowed to enforce tariffs on Mexico until it takes action to curb the migration flow into the United States. He further pledged to initiate the “largest deportation program of criminals in the history of our country,” aiming to address issues related to border security and immigration enforcement.

Joined by family members including his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, his daughters Tiffany and Lara Trump, and son-in-law Michael Boulos, Trump expressed gratitude for their steadfast support. “Thank you for supporting me from the beginning,” he said, acknowledging his children’s involvement in his political journey.

Pennsylvania, where Trump’s rally was held, is considered one of the most crucial battleground states in the election, with analysts viewing it as a key determinant in the Electoral College outcome.

Trump’s stop in Pittsburgh underscored the importance he places on winning Pennsylvania, which has historically been one of the most fiercely contested states in presidential elections.

Kamala Harris, Trump’s primary opponent in the race, also focused on Pennsylvania for her final campaign push.

Harris concluded her campaign Monday night with a rally in Philadelphia, where she was joined by celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga, and The Roots.

The high-profile rally highlighted her focus on Pennsylvania as a must-win state for her campaign.

Meanwhile, Trump’s final campaign rally took place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, mirroring the location of his closing rallies in both the 2016 and 2020 elections.

As both candidates wrap up their campaigns, the nation watches closely to see which way Pennsylvania—and the country—will swing on Election Day.
