Kamala Harris is running different ads in different parts of the country in relation to the ongoing conflict in Gaza in an attempt to play both sides.
The Vice President’s standing on the war between Israel and Hamas has led itself to a tricky situation. While she has perhaps been more sympathetic to the rallying calls of pro-Palestinian activists than President Joe Biden, many Muslim voters see her as part of the administration which has funded Benjamin Netanyahu’s conflict which has led to the deaths of Palestinian civilians. Similarly, her flipflopping over the issue has frustrated Jewish voters who are fully supportive of Israel’s actions.
To solve this problem, Harris’ campaign has been running different ads depending on where you live in the country – and hoping that nobody notices.

For example, in the swing state of Michigan – where more than 241,000 Muslims live – Harris can be seen promising to “not be silent” in her efforts to end the suffering of Palestinians. However, in Pennsylvania – where 434,000 Jews make up 3.1% of the state’s overall population – Harris has been highlighting her support for “Israel’s right to defend itself.”
So, needless to say, people noticed.
NEW: Our report tonight on @OutFrontCNN — The Harris campaign is targeting Jews in PA and Arabs in Michigan with entirely different messages on Gaza. PA ads highlight her support for Israel’s “ability to defend itself,” while Michigan ads say “she will not be silent” on Gaza. pic.twitter.com/tLg8gJ0mLE

The most interesting part of this latest flipflop is that it was exposed by none other than CNN!
I’m shocked it is on CNN.

I’m just surprised CNN picked that up and aired it! Kamala speaks with forked tongue, it seems. An ancient Indian tradition, I believe.

Is CNN going to start doing journalism again? Gonna be a bit rusty.

There was also disagreement as to what this approach is called.
That’s called micro-targeting. You guys just learning about this?

It’s called pandering. She doesn’t know where she stands on any issue!
