In a new twist, Joe Rogan disclosed that Vice President Kamala Harris’s team reached out to set up an interview, but Rogan refused the restrictive terms.
According to Rogan, Harris’s team stipulated he’d have to travel to her, and they were only willing to allow a one-hour slot—a stark contrast to his typical long-form, relaxed interviews, as reported by The Daily Mail.
Rogan explained his decision on X (formerly Twitter) Monday night, saying, “I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.”

This move comes on the heels of Rogan’s recent three-hour sit-down with Donald Trump, which drew an impressive 17 million YouTube views within the first 24 hours.
In a time when liberals are pushing for Harris to appeal to younger voters, her team might have hoped Rogan’s platform, largely composed of younger male listeners, would have served her well. However, the setup didn't sit well with Rogan, known for his no-frills, lengthy discussions, which he claims are best held in his Austin studio.
In comparison, Harris’s recent appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast brought in a modest 685,000 views over two weeks.
