In a second terrifying incident targeting former President Donald Trump, an assassination attempt was thwarted at his West Palm Beach golf course.

This near-deadly encounter came just two months after another attempt on Trump’s life by a Democrat donor in Butler, Pennsylvania. On Sunday, around 1:30 pm, as Trump played golf with real estate mogul Steve Witkoff, shots rang out near the 45th president, as reported by Gateway Pundit.

According to reports, the shooter, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, shoved the muzzle of his rifle through the fence surrounding the course. Routh, armed with what law enforcement identified as an AK-47, was less than 500 yards from Trump and had concealed himself in shrubbery.

Quick action from Secret Service agents forced Routh to flee the scene in a black vehicle. He was later captured and arrested in Martin County.

Despite the seriousness of this second attempt on Trump’s life, far-left critics wasted no time in mocking the situation. Rachel Vindman, wife of Alexander Vindman, who played a central role in the Trump-Ukraine impeachment drama, posted a disgraceful tweet that set social media ablaze.

“No ears were harmed,” Vindman sneered in her post, attempting to trivialize the life-threatening incident. She added, “Carry on with your Sunday afternoon,” showing a shocking disregard for what could have been a national tragedy.

Naturally, Vindman’s tweet drew immediate backlash from users across social media platforms. The responses, though brutal, were well-deserved, with many calling out her vile and insensitive comment.

Yet, in true leftist fashion, Vindman refused to back down. Rather than offering any apology, she doubled down with another snarky post: “Sorry you’re triggered. I mean no I’m not. I don’t care a little bit.”

Had a similar attempt been made on Kamala Harris’s life, and a conservative made a joke about it, swift repercussions, possibly involving law enforcement, would likely have followed. In contrast, no actions have been taken against Vindman, prompting questions about inconsistent responses based on the political figure targeted. The tweet has since been deleted.
