The hip hop mogul’s detention comes after a judge denied his release, despite his legal team offering a $50 million surety, which included his Florida mansion on Star Island and his mother’s house.

Combs’ detention at MDC, a federal jail notorious for its harsh conditions and history of violence, is standard for high-profile individuals, according to sources who spoke to DailyMail.com.

He remains in the facility’s Special Housing Unit, often referred to as “hell on earth,” where he is isolated from other inmates but does not receive special treatment. Combs’ day-to-day routine consists of early morning wake-ups at 6 a.m., limited recreational time, and stringent security measures.

Former MDC warden Cameron Lindsay told TMZ that Combs’ life could be in danger due to the prison’s violent environment, where harming a high-profile inmate could be seen as a “badge of honor” by other prisoners.

As Combs faces his legal battle, a video from 2018 involving Jonathan Oddi, a former porn actor who claims he was the rapper’s “sex slave,” has resurfaced.

In the video, Oddi alleges that he was involved in sexual encounters with both Combs and the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Oddi claims that during these encounters, Combs would watch and direct him while engaging in sexual acts with Ventura.

“I had sex with Cassie and Sean,” Oddi said in the police interrogation video. “He would masturbate and tell me what to do to Cassie. I was like a sex slave, okay. For them, that’s what I was.”

Oddi further alleged that the hip hop industry was involved in a “cabal” of wealthy individuals who trafficked drugs, specifically liquid cocaine, on private jets.

He claimed that he participated in drug use alongside Ventura and Combs and that he contracted herpes from their sexual interactions.

Oddi’s claims were dismissed by police at the time, but the video has gained renewed attention in light of the recent allegations against Combs.

Oddi’s claims bear a disturbing resemblance to the accusations made by Cassie Ventura in her November 2023 lawsuit against Combs.

Ventura’s lawsuit alleged that Combs abused her and forced her to participate in sexual acts with male prostitutes, which he called “freak offs.”

She also accused Combs of recording these encounters. Federal prosecutors have corroborated aspects of Ventura’s lawsuit, mentioning “freak offs” in a memo requesting that Combs be denied bail.

“The defendant arranged ‘Freak Offs’ with the assistance of members and associates of the Enterprise, including employees of his business, and the hotel rooms where they were staged often sustained significant damages,” the prosecution memo stated.

Oddi, who described himself as an investor, was also a male stripper and porn actor. He was arrested in May 2018 after firing a gun inside the Trump National Doral Miami resort.

Police reported that Oddi stormed the resort’s lobby, carrying an American flag and shouting about then-President Donald Trump. He fired his weapon at a chandelier before engaging in a gunfight with police officers, who eventually shot him in the legs and apprehended him.

Oddi remains in custody at a Miami-Dade County detention center, facing multiple charges, including attempted murder of law enforcement officers, armed burglary, and armed grand theft.

Meanwhile, Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, is also being held without bail. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has stated that they plan to file another motion for Combs’ release while expediting his trial.

Agnifilo remains adamant about his client’s innocence, saying, “Mr. Combs is a fighter – he will fight this until the end. He is innocent. He has been looking forward to clearing his name and he is going to clear his name. We believe in him wholeheartedly. He didn’t do these things.”

The charges against Combs and the resurfacing of Oddi’s video have added fuel to the controversies surrounding the hip hop mogul.

Combs’ arrest follows years of allegations that have surfaced in the music industry about the treatment of women and exploitation in various forms.

As Combs awaits trial, the conditions of his incarceration at MDC, combined with the intense public scrutiny over the resurfaced video and Ventura’s lawsuit, continue to capture widespread attention.

The Brooklyn jail has been criticized for its extreme conditions and has been linked to several high-profile cases involving violence, suicides, and alleged mismanagement. MDC’s Manhattan facility was shut down in 2021 due to similar concerns.

While the case against Combs unfolds, questions about the accountability of powerful figures in the music industry persist, as both Oddi’s claims and Ventura’s lawsuit shed light on the darker side of fame and influence.

Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs is finding himself in deep trouble as he faces serious charges, including sex trafficking, bribery, forced labor, and obstruction of justice, according to federal authorities. CNN reported that Combs, long considered a power player in the music industry, was arrested Monday night after law enforcement shed light on his alleged “criminal enterprise.”

Details from the federal indictment show a troubling series of crimes reportedly orchestrated through his business empire.

Among these charges are allegations that Combs hosted notorious drug-fueled parties, called “Freak Offs,” which were said to be filled with illicit drug use and disturbing behavior. These parties were alleged to involve substances like cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, and more, according to sources like TMZ.

Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, is scrambling to secure bail, offering significant incentives to the court. His legal team proposed a $50 million bond, secured by his Miami mansion and his mother’s home, hoping this would sway the judge. Additionally, Combs has agreed to weekly drug testing, no doubt an attempt to quell concerns about the rampant drug use tied to the alleged “Freak Offs.”

But that’s not all. In a desperate attempt to ease concerns about witness tampering, Combs’ bail package includes promises to avoid any contact with grand jury witnesses, as well as maintaining a detailed log of visitors to his Miami home.

These logs, he agreed, would be handed over to authorities nightly. He also limited visitations to close family and friends who aren’t involved in the case, as reported by the Western Journal.

However, even with these concessions, Combs took his offer to a strange new level. In a move that raised more eyebrows than it reassured, he promised to limit contact with women, excluding only family members and the mothers of his children.

His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, even proposed adding “strenuous and maybe unusual conditions,” such as isolating Combs from any cell phone or internet access, to further restrict his activities while out on bail.

Despite the odd lengths to which Combs and his team have gone, Judge Andrew Carter wasn’t buying it. As reported by CNN, Carter ruled that Combs would remain in federal custody, citing ongoing concerns that no conditions could prevent Combs from intimidating witnesses or interfering with the case.

Combs’ next court appearance is set for October 9, and it looks like he’ll be spending his time behind bars until then, regardless of how much he sweetens the deal.
