Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) knows how to take the heat and throw it right back. During a recent House Oversight Committee hearing, she dished out a cold, well-served comeback aimed at CNN panelist Michael Eric Dyson, a month after he and another left-wing commentator tried to shame her on air, as reported by Red State.

It all started during a CNN segment where Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ campaign strategy was discussed. Mace found herself in the crossfire of two woke panelists, Dyson and Keith Boykin, who berated her for allegedly mispronouncing Harris’ name.

The two went so far as to accuse Mace of racism, with Dyson insinuating, “That’s the white disregard for the history and humanity of black people.” The accusation was absurd, but unfortunately, it’s a predictable tactic from the left when they can’t debate ideas.

Fast forward to the present, and Mace had her chance for payback, all while keeping her cool. During the hearing, Mace pointed out the hypocrisy surrounding Harris’ name, revealing that Democrats, including President Biden himself, have also pronounced it incorrectly.

But she didn’t stop there. With a touch of wit, Mace brought up a text she received from Dyson after the CNN segment, one that painted a rather different picture of the professor’s feelings toward her.

“I would like to also enter into the record a screenshot of a text message I received from the esteemed professor from Vanderbilt, Michael Eric Dyson, after my CNN interview, begged me for photos in this text. He says, after calling me a racist on CNN, ‘shh, don’t tell anybody we look good together’ and sent me a kissy emoji. The guy says I’m gorgeous in all these photos.  I don’t think he’s that bent out of shape on how anyone pronounces Kamala. ”

Ouch. Dyson’s text was not only embarrassing but also contradictory, considering his public stance just a month earlier. And to make matters worse, Dyson is a married man.

Nancy Mace may not always be the favorite among conservatives, but when it comes to calling out the woke left’s hypocrisy, she brings the fire. Without missing a beat, she exposed the double standard in how the left demands respect yet can’t practice it themselves.
