According to the Harris campaign, Project 2025 is seen as Trump’s alleged agenda to consolidate power and undermine democratic institutions.

The site claims, “Donald Trump is a convicted criminal who only cares about himself. He’s proven that time and time again – from caving to the gun lobby and doing nothing to address gun violence to killing the bipartisan border security deal that would secure our border and keep America safe, just to help himself politically.”

Furthermore, it alleges that if re-elected, Trump would use his position to “bring the Department of Justice and the FBI under his direct control so he can give himself unchecked legal power and go after his opponents, and rule as a dictator on ‘day one.'”

On the topic of LGBTQ rights, the Harris campaign highlights its commitment to combating discrimination and ensuring housing security for LGBTQ individuals, though it notably does not address the contentious issue of transgender ideology, particularly regarding the transitioning of minors.

In terms of foreign policy, the campaign emphasizes Harris’s support for Israel, particularly in the context of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The policy statement pledges that Harris will defend Israel’s right to exist and its ability to defend itself, while also working towards a resolution that ensures the safety and dignity of both Israeli and Palestinian people. “Vice President Harris will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself and she will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself. She and President Biden are working to end the war in Gaza, such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom, and self-determination,” the campaign states.
