Several Trump supporters have reported experiencing severe eye injuries after attending a rally for the former president in Arizona. The mysterious incident occurred at Ronstadt Music Hall in Tucson during Trump’s speech on September 12, as reported by the New York Post.

Among those affected was Mayra Rodriguez, a prominent Republican and former Planned Parenthood whistleblower. She was seated in a small group positioned directly behind Trump, but shortly after leaving the venue, Rodriguez began feeling intense irritation in her eyes.

“As soon as we left and stepped outside, my eyes were burning,” Rodriguez said in an interview with KVOA.

She initially brushed it off as a mild allergy attack, but her symptoms worsened significantly during her 90-minute drive back to Phoenix.

The pain became so unbearable that she rushed to the emergency room, where medical staff questioned whether she had been sprayed with something. Despite their efforts, doctors were unable to pinpoint the cause of her condition.

As reported by Daily Mail, Rodriguez, still struggling with the pain, described her symptoms as excruciating. “It hurts, it hurts a lot to open my eyes,” she said. “I have this cold cloth I put on and take off constantly. It’s horrible.”

Rodriguez wasn’t the only one affected. A brother and sister, who requested anonymity, were seated near her and experienced similar symptoms.

The sister described her discomfort, saying, “My eyes were watering a lot, my nose started running, and my face got flushed.” Her brother echoed the sentiment, adding that the pain in his eyes was “unbearable” and left his eyes red and irritated.

As of now, no clear explanation has emerged regarding what caused these eye injuries. Medical personnel ruled out the venue’s lighting as a potential cause, and no harmful substance was found at the rally.

The Secret Service stated they were unaware of the incident, adding that there was no threat to Trump at the event, which was attended by over 2,000 supporters. However, questions remain as to why only the small group sitting on the right side of the stage were impacted.

Rodriguez, nearly blind by the end of the week, thankfully saw some improvement in her vision days later. Yet, the ordeal left her and others puzzled as to what happened. She raised an important question: “Why only the group where Trump came in?”

This odd occurrence comes on the heels of an alleged assassination attempt on Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course. The suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was armed and reportedly got within 300 to 500 yards of Trump before being stopped by a Secret Service agent.
