On Friday afternoon, a charter plane carrying Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance was forced to make an emergency landing at Milwaukee International Airport. The Boeing 737, operated by Eastern Air, returned to the airport around 1:30 p.m. after the pilot identified a potential issue with the aircraft, as reported by WISN 12 News.

According to airport officials, the aircraft, dubbed “Trump Force Two,” landed without any complications and taxied back to the terminal under its own power. Taylor Van Kirk, a spokesperson for Senator Vance, confirmed that the emergency was due to a malfunction with the door seal. “After declaring an emergency, the plane returned to Milwaukee. Once the issue was resolved, the plane resumed its flight back to Cincinnati,” Van Kirk stated.
