Kristen Bell is an enthusiastic mom who often voices her opinions about parenthood to the world.
Bell even has a show called Momsplaining, where she converses with guests about the hardships of being a mom in today’s world. And from time to time, the Hollywood star lets us in on her motherhood experience.
The Frozen star has 2 kids with actor, Dax Shepard.
Bell and Shepard met in 2007 and married 6 years later, in 2013. Right before getting married, they had their first child Lincoln Bell Shepard. They’ve had many ups and downs but are still together for the sake of their family. A year later, after their wedding, they welcomed their second daughter, Delta Bell Shepard.

Although this Hollywood couple is very private regarding their kids’ identities, they are also outspoken about their experiences as parents of 2 little girls. When talking about her kids’ privacy, the actress said, “My feeling is that I chose a career in the public eye.” She added, “I don’t know if they will want that. So I don’t have the right to choose for them.”
Nevertheless, Bell and Shepard don’t shy away from opportunities to discuss their relationship and parenting journey. In 2020, The Good Place star spoke in an interview about how she handles essential topics with her kids.
One of the essential topics that came up was Santa Claus. The actress said, “I love Santa,” but when her daughter asked if the white-bearded man was real, Bell gushed, “I had no choice but to be honest with her.”
Kristen mentioned in her podcast that her 5-year-old daughter still wears diapers.
On her podcast, Momsplaining, Bell shared, 3 years ago, an experience she had with her 2 daughters regarding potty training. “My oldest daughter, at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room. Never wore a diaper beyond that.” But when it came to her youngest daughter, it wasn’t such an easy task.
“Currently, my youngest is 5 and a half. Still in diapers.” Bell admitted that everything is relative because “every kid is so different.” Not long after this statement, Bell and Shepard announced in an interview that after potty training every night, their daughter Delta could ditch diapers once and for all.
Their hard work certainly paid off, but the actress added, “I think it’s normal, and no one should feel ashamed if their kid has an irregular pattern for potty training.”
