Justin Timberlake Opens up About Quarantining With Young Family – Says ’24 Hour Parenting Is Not Human’

Interviews like this one remind us that we really are all in this together.

Justin Timberlake just opened up about life in quarantine with his wife Jessica Biel and 5 year-old son Silas during an interview with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up.

Fox News reported that when Timberlake was asked if being in quarantine “helped or hindered” his relationship, the singer and actor replied, “We’re doing good. We’re mostly commiserating over the fact that… 24 hour parenting is not human.”

He then joked that his young son sometimes gives him impatient looks during their time in quarantine.

“I’m like, alright, cool. Let’s take a 20. I got you,” he said as he pretended to back away from the child. “Just a commercial break.”

Timberlake went on to explain that his family is self-isolating at their home in Montana, where they are taking things easy.

“We thought the best way to kinda do our part…we have a place in Montana and so we came up here,” he said, adding that they feel blessed to be able to get away from cities.

“We feel very lucky and kind of blessed that we’re in a place… where they’re pretty socially distant here anyway, where our place is,” Timberlake explained. “And so, I mean just being able to kind of walk out into your driveway and maybe go for a little hike is always nice.”

Timberlake had shared an image last month of a snowy landscape indicating that it was where he was practicing social distancing.

“Out here social distancing with the fam and a lot of these [trees emojis] I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy,” he captioned the image. “We need to stick together and look out for each other during this crazy time. Interviews like this one remind us that we really are all in this together. Coronavirus doesn’t care about fame or fortune, so celebrities are finding themselves having to quarantine just like the rest of us are. When feeling lonely during this difficult time in isolation, it’s important to remember that we are all going through the same thing, and that we will end up coming out the other side stronger once this is all over.
