Christopher Hopkins, better known as The Makeover Guy, is an internet star who loves giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with incredible makeovers. He’s carried out some truly fabulous makeovers in his time, but this one might just be the best one yet because of one husband’s amazing reaction to his wife’s new look.
Tamara is a nurse who has spent years putting her own appearance on the back burner in favor of taking care of others, and she was ready to change up her “plain Jane” look. That’s why she decided to make the journey to Christopher’s salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“I’m up for anything; change is always good,” she said bravely as she handed over control to Christopher before the makeover.
While Tamara’s husband waited outside, Christopher spent hours transforming her looks. He ended up covering up Tamara’s gray roots and turning her into a beautiful honey blond bombshell, making her appear decades younger! He also gave her a whole new makeup regimen, bringing the focus to her stunning eyes.
By the time Christopher was done with her, Tamara was unrecognizable from the person she was when she walked into his salon. When it finally came time for Tamara’s husband to see her, he was quite literally blown away!
“I can’t even tell it’s you!” he said with a shocked look on his face as Christopher laughed. As Tamara’s husband tells her how gorgeous she looks, he can’t seem to stop staring into her eyes with a look full of love. He just can’t believe that this is the woman who he gets to take home with him!
