Do you remember the Three Stooges?

Of course you do!

They were American entertainers and a comedy team that was active from 1922 until 1970.

The trio are best known for the 190 short-subject films they did with Columbia Pictures — films that have aired regularly on TV since 1958.

Six “stooges” appeared over the act’s run (with only three men active at any given time).

Moe Howard and Larry Fine were mainstays throughout the ensemble’s nearly 50-year run.

The pivotal “third stooge” was played at various times by Shemp Howard, Curly Howard, Shemp Howard again, Joe Besser, and “Curly” Joe DeRita.

You can read the rest of their story on Wikipedia.

Or you can just laugh at the video of Larry, Moe and Curly as they sing “Swingin’ The Alphabet.”
