Comedian Kathy Griffin’s career stalled last year when she posed with a fake severed head of President Donald Trump as part of a controversial photoshoot she did.

The act brought widespread condemnation — and it led Griffin to lose several gigs and to apologize for what many considered to be a joke that went way too far.

Since then, Griffin, who is 58, has not only walked back her apology — she’s attempted to double down on her vulgar political stances.

On Thursday, Griffin went after Trump for tweeting about border security.

She tweeted foully to the president, “Just shut the f*** up and prepare for prison.”

Trump’s tweet read, “This isn’t about the wall, everybody knows that a wall will work perfectly (in Israel the wall works 99.9%). This is only about the Dems not letting Donald Trump & the Republicans have a win. They may have the 10 Senate votes, but we have the issue, border security. 2020!”

Griffin also went after the president recently over the death of an illegal immigrant child; the child died while in the custody of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Christmas Eve.

“God forgive us for this horrific tragedy,” she tweeted on Christmas Day.

“The GOP and Trump must be reminded that they are directly responsible for this,” she then added.

Griffin also previously called for ICE to deport the president — and she compared Trump to a Nazi.

“If ICE is in the business of removing despicable Nazis can they please head over to the White House?” she tweeted in August.

The tweet was in response to Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, who tweeted, “For many years a Nazi forced labor camp guard had been living in NY — a terrible injustice. Past administrations failed to deport him. Today, @realDonaldTrump got the job done! ICE has removed this despicable Nazi from our great country.”

The news of a Nazi’s deportation meant little to Griffin, however.

She merely saw it as one more opportunity to attack the president.

Beyond her standup comedy, Griffin is best known for her former reality series “My Life on the D-List,” which ran for six seasons.

She has also appeared on television shows, such as “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” and “American Dad!”

Griffin is far from the only celebrity who wants to see Trump arrested.

Director Rob Reiner (“Misery,” “A Few Good Men”) has said the president is “aiding” America’s enemies and wants to see him impeached and imprisoned.

Actor Robert De Niro, who portrays special investigator Robert Mueller on “Saturday Night Live,” has said he fantasizes about arresting Trump.
