Comedian Kathy Griffin was up bright and early on this summer Tuesday — and started her day by sharing a tweet in which she “joked” about Nazi war criminal Jakiw Palij.

She then suggested that President Donald Trump ought to suffer the same fate as the despicable Nazi, whom Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported back to Germany earlier in the day.

The comedian wrote this: “If ICE is in the business of removing despicable Nazis can they please head over to the White House?”

The tweet was in response to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders’ early morning announcement that despite the failure of past administrations, the 95-year-old Queens, New York, resident, a guard in a Nazi forced labor camp, had been successfully removed from “our great country.”

Earlier this month, Griffin also took to Twitter in an anti-police rant.

In that tweet, she called out as “racist” the law enforcement personnel who were dealing with protesters who had taken over an ICE building in Portland, Oregon.

“Oh, f*** off! Police in Portland, of all cities, siding with & protecting nazis ‘proud boys’ and ‘prayer …’ some s***. White America has to face the harsh reality that cops are largely racist. Yeah, I said it. The cops are fighting the actual Portlanders and calling them ‘antifa.'”

But there’s the truth about Griffin’s attacks.

Antifa was, indeed, among the militant groups that took part in the occupation of the building, as Fox News and other outlets reported.

Social media’s collective dressing down of today’s Griffin tweet was sharp-tongued; the 57-year-old’s act of notoriety last year involved her posing with a prop meant to resemble the decapitated head of President Trump.
