Some recent anti-Trump remarks at the Los Angeles Israeli Film Festival did not go over well.

“Get Out” and “Halloween” producer Jason Blum (pictured above right) was accepting the Achievement in Film & Television Award and was subsequently booed — and even physically removed from the stage after going political.

“Tonight we have much to celebrate with the opening of the 32nd Israeli Film Festival, but at the same time today Americans went to the polls to exercise our right to vote. I have been quietly checking my phone and we’re doing pretty well. The election results are pouring in as I speak and a lot is on the line,” Blum, 49, said.

After Blum said, “We’re doing pretty well,” several audience members responded with, “Depends for who,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The producer continued, “A lot is on the line. The last two years have been hard for all of us who cherish the freedom as citizens of this country.”

Some people began walking out of the Saban Theater at the Steve Tisch Cinema Center in Beverly Hills; Blum responded by getting fired up and saying, “The great thing about this country is that you can like Trump, but I don’t have to, and I can say what I feel about it — and I don’t like it!”

Audience members began booing Blum — and the producer did not take it well.

“As you can see from this auditorium, it’s the end of civil discourse,” he said. “We have a president who calls the press the enemy of the people. Thanks to our president, anti-Semitism is on the rise.”

A man identified as Yossi Dina then tried to physically remove Blum from the stage.

Dina is a pawnbroker who starred in the reality series “Beverly Hills Pawn.”

As more people took to the stage, Blum was asked to exit and end his political comments.

Festival director and founder Meir Fenigstein told THR, “This is the first time we have ever experienced anything like this and I am in total shock, but I understand that this is a very tense day in American with the elections.”

He added, “This is not the place for politics and I remain apolitical.”

Blum later tweeted about the event, “Well, this night went kinda haywire.”

The Israeli Film Festival is sponsored by the Adelson Foundation, a charity organization started by billionaire Sheldon Adelson, who is a Trump supporter.

The Hollywood Reporter is also a co-sponsor of the event.

Blum is arguably Hollywood’s most successful modern producer. His company, Blumhouse Productions, has been behind hits like “Halloween,” “Get Out,” “Split,” “The Visit,” “The Purge,” “Paranormal Activity,” among many others.
