Psychology Today found that grandmas are calmer than they were when they were parents, which is why they often let things slide off their shoulders when their grandchildren misbehave.

On top of that, grandmas don’t have to worry about actual parenting, so they get to sidestep a lot of the stress of raising children and only focus on the fun stuff.
