“I’m No Angel,” 1987. This song, from an album of the same name, was proof Allman wasn’t always so serious. He knew how to make a catchy song that melded country and rock sounds.
The music video is perfect proof of the fun and early MTV imagery Allman was going for here. It was a popular tune, as the Allman Brothers played it when they were reunited a couple years later.
