“Floating Bridge,” 2011. Nothing, including a liver transplant, could stop someone like Gregg Allman from creating new material. The album “Low Country Blues” was released in 2011 and showed that Allman still had the stuff and then some.
It was a cover of Sleepy John Estes’ original song — and Allman brought an intensity and personal touch to it that made it all his own for a few mesmerizing moments.
