An Arkansas judge let loose on Hunter Biden after he argued on Tuesday night that he needed a nine-month delay in his child support case partly because of coronavirus fears.
Biden’s baby mama, 28 year-old former stripper Lunden Alexis Roberts, has been trying to take him to court to obtain child support for a baby confirmed to be his in a DNA test taken at the end of 2019. On Tuesday night, Biden’s legal team argued that he could not make the trip from his Los Angeles home to Arkansas partly because of coronavirus and partly because his wife is due to give birth in the coming weeks.
County Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer, however, was not having any of it. She said that Biden has been “given considerable leniency regarding continuances and delay,” adding that it was unreasonable for him to use his wife’s pregnancy as an excuse, according to Fox News.

The judge explained that the pregnancy was “well known to all when the date of March 13, 2020 for a hearing in Arkansas was agreed upon by the defense and set by the Court.” She added that media scrutiny is also not a good excuse because it “will continue” given the fact that Biden’s father is running for president.
As for the coronavirus excuse, Meyer said that “no health threat specific to the defendant has been identified” and added that “life and work will and should continue in our communities and our courts.”
She ended her scathing rebuke of Biden by saying that “the nine month continuance requested is excessive.”
“The best interest of the child that is at the center of this matter is served by a swift and timely adjudication of the questions of facts and law relevant to the support issue which is the crux of this case,” Meyer wrote. “The defendant’s attempts to delay this case are mounting such that one begins to see a pattern of delay.”
“The defendant’s deposition on March 11-12, 2020 shall not be continued or delayed,” she concluded. “The proposed further delay in the defendant’s deposition, the discovery disagreements, the requests for continuance, and the duplicitous requests for protective orders all seem to point to a pattern of difficulty in this matter which only serves to underline the serious need for a hearing in this matter.”
Hours later, in a surprising twist, Roberts’ lawyer Clinton Lancaster informed Meyer that an agreement had been reached.
“Late last night, after the Court entered the order, we reached a global, final settlement of all issues,” Lancaster wrote the judge, adding that he could send the agreed upon order to her immediately.

If Meyer does approve the order, it would mean that Biden would not need to turn over his financial information to the court. This will come as a blow to Republicans who were hoping his financial disclosures would give more insight to his overseas business dealings which have come under scrutiny in the past year.
It remains to be seen if Meyer will approve the order.
Regardless of the outcome of her decision, we’re glad to see that the judge criticized Biden shirking his paternal responsibilities. From the very start of this case, he has acted as if he is above the law and the rules therefore do not apply to him. Clearly, Judge Meyer was not going to tolerate that type of behavior in her courtroom, even from a Biden.
