Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel had no love for Republicans who questioned disgraced lawyer Michael Cohen’s credibility during the man’s Wednesday testimony before congressional members.
Cohen, on live TV, accused the president of the United States of everything from racism to lying to the American people.
Cohen is already a proven liar and will be spending years in prison for his previous lies to Congress, but that fact doesn’t matter to Kimmel.
Cohen said things that Kimmel liked — so this liar was just fine with him.
“The Republicans were relentless in their blind defense of the president. Their strategy seemed to be, ‘We don’t believe this liar. We believe the other liar, OK?'” said Kimmel.
The comedian continued, “As if being a liar wasn’t the main reason Trump hired Michael Cohen. The job interview went something like this: ‘Will you lie for me, Michael?’ ‘Yes, Mr. President.’ ‘Welcome aboard.'”
Kimmel said Republicans’ defense of the president was “disturbing.”

In this and other views, Kimmel joined plenty of fellow Hollywood liberals who applauded Cohen’s testimony.
They are pretending once again that they have the so-called bombshell that will magically end Trump’s presidency. Give us a break.
